Legal Concentration:
Estate Planning, Wills and Trust, Elder Law, Probate, Business Law and Family Law
Specific experience:
I handled a divorce involving significant assets. The couple also had a closely held business. I represented the husband. His main concern was being able to continually run the business and being able to see his children. In the end I was able to get him custody of his children. He also remains able to retain his business interests.
I represented a guardianship case. There was an individual in a coma. Her son had multiple felonies and was abusive with substances. I was able to keep him from becoming guardian to her and any assets that she held. I was able to resolve the matter with getting her sibling appointed as guardian, ensuring that she and her assets are protected.
I helped a couple who had very little assets. When coming to me, they were able to reach an agreement with child custody and support issues. I took all their concerns and requests into consideration to ensure matters were fair for both parties. The couple did not have to go to court. I helped them with writing up the uncontested divorce agreement. I was able to submit the paperwork without charging them a fortune.
