The Tolland Fire Department, Inc. has been providing fire protection for the Town of Tolland since 1933. Today, the men and women who volunteer their services as Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians, Fire Police officers, and Auxiliary work closely with six career Firefighter/EMT's in a modern combination department that provides the highest possible level of fire protection, emergency medical service, rescue, and hazardous materials response for the town's residents and businesses.
The Tolland Fire Department proudly provides its services to the 15,000 residents of Tolland, as well as our surrounding communities via mutual aid agreements. We currently operate two ambulances, five engine tanks, a heavy rescue, a 100' ladder truck, two 3000 gallon tankers, and two all terrain vehicles.
