Yum!!! had an italian beef here with cheese fries. better than portillos!!! beefs are juicy, lots of cheese, and delicious peppers. super good spirited people too!

For "Fast food" this is a keeper for something other than your go to burger or chicken nuggets. They have Delicious gyros and Italian beef. The portions are filling so you won't leave here hungry! I highly recommend them!Food: 5/5

I used to love going to Tom & Jerry's Restaurant. When my family and I first moved to Sycamore, they were one of our first experiences with the community. They had wonderful food and amazing staff heck, one of the employees even helped us look for our lost cat. We live in the homes behind the restaurant, and the employee heard us calling for our cat and offered to help! Their staff was always so friendly, with great conversations and even giving combo recommendations to save a few bucks. They were always kind to my toddler which was a huge plus; just an all around wholesome feel of "small town good neighbor". With that said, the last several times I've gone have been a disappointment. The food quality has been okay, but definitely not as constant as it once was. Which I know can sometimes be due to new staff and what not. Honestly what's been the most disappointing, is the attitude of the staff. I feel like I am an inconvenience to them. Where it used to be friendly engaging interactions, I am now faced with rude tempers or getting cut off. I've had the window shut on me a few times when I've tried to talk with them. One time when I was trying to tell them they gave me the wrong order! I had to wave a few times to get them to address me again. The last straw was because of yet another rude interaction from today. They had clipped tone with my husband the entire time, and once again messed up the order. I get that fast food can be demanding, I worked in retail customer service for over 15 years. But if you don't want to treat your customers with respect, get a new job. Tom & Jerry's used to be so friendly but now they feel no different from McDonalds. It's sad but they are no longer worth my time and money.

I wish I had photos. I grew up eating here and this was my first time back in 7 years. The food was over-priced for how little quantity and quality I received. The gyro meat was mushy and greasy, the fries were literally so small I had less than 8 total fries. The Greek salad was soggy and wet. My son's Italian beef was over cheesed but otherwise he enjoyed it. I see the tell-tale signs of a company whose ownership no longer cares.

They're about the only place in the area that has authentic gyros sandwiches, without being burnt, crispy and greasy. . Really enjoyed their mushrooms and crispy curds,too. The sandwich was almost more than I could eat. I'm going back for more.

We hosted a party and ordered catering. It was some of the best catered food we ever had. The fried chicken, roasted chicken wings and ribs were all perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. Highly recommend.

Gotta loves those chocolate shakes and pizza puffs! The best around. Great service and always hot food!! Can go wrong with the Italian beef either dipped in auju .

Excellent Quality. Generous Portions. Hot. Fresh. Not a bad item on the menu! My 'go to" place from a customer recommendation! Now my favorite place to get food, other than PJs wings.

Thought I would try this restaurant for their Chicago dogs and the sausage. The dog was small and tasted boiled and the sausage had absolutely no spices and was tasteless. Fries were okay but the peach malt was thin and didn’t have any malt flavor. This below average food cost me $18.50. High prices for literally bad food! I’ll never return and will go back to Portillo’s because they never disappoint.
