I had the pleasure of working with Cathi Tygret and was blown away by the level of customer service she provided. My experience with TCP, and Rich Gunn specifically, has been absolutely phenomenal. Rich and his team are proactive, extremely organized and they go above and beyond to meet our needs. We are often in a scenario where we need immediate assistance. Rich goes right into action, and gets us what we need in a very timely manner. I've had various insurance carriers in the past and TCP is by far the best one we've been with. Would absolutely recommend for all production insurance needs. Will be a customer for life.
I had to quickly acquire insurance as a new business and Rich ensured to make the onboarding process seamless. Rich was very patient and excellent at communicating my options based on my industry to ensure my needs were met. He even took the time to share insight on how the insurance can evolve as my company grows. Excited to see how we are able to grow together.
These guys decided to drop my coverage after 8 years of paying premiums and they still continue to send me a bill for some reason. Don’t go with them unless you want to be charged outrageous premiums and then be dropped all the sudden for no good reason. Very unorganized and very unprofessional. - I am a professional photographer with 15 years of experience and I left their firm with a terrible experience after years of being with them. I never filed a claim and all the sudden they decided to drop my coverage because I was ‘too high risk.’ I had never made a claim in the 8 years I was with them and so they made a huge profit from me and then kicked me to the curb. They then referred me to a collections agency 10 months after they dropped me from coverage to get a payment from me for a time which I wasn’t covered. - Just beware. It’s a big company who doesn’t seem to care about your small business.
So thankful to have been connected with TCP. Allison was a dream to connect with and was incredibly communicative and knowledgable about answering all of my questions. Excited to partner with them on future productions.

I have never felt compelled to write a review about an insurance company, but I could not be more pleased with TCP insurance and felt they deserved a glowing review. I have been a professional photographer for 20 years, and up until this year I had Lockton Insurance through PPA. In the past two years, Lockton’s customer service has gone sadly downhill. In comparison, the folks at TCP have responded quickly to my questions, were happy to chat with me over the phone to discuss my policy in full, and their rates are more than competitive. I am a very satisfied customer of TCP Insurance and would recommend the company highly to other professional photographers.
