Very cool and spacious park. Lots of room to walk around and pretty large baseball fields. Overall very pleasant and highly recommend.
Here for a soccer tournament. Nice fields, pretty view, actual bathrooms, port-a-potties, playground, probably plenty of parking usually but with a soccer tournament here it was a struggle to find parking.
Developed by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District MWRD, the stormwater reservoir area was leased by the Palatine Park District from 1977 until 2027. The Reservoir area covers 26 acres of land. The Park District used the adjacent parcel to develop a recreational area now known as the Ron Gbur Sports Field.
Love walking here with my dog. Doggie bags and garbage cans aplenty.
