Tombstone Fire Dept. provides fire, rescue, medical, wildland, and public services to the City of Tombstone and its large surrounding area.
The Tombstone Fire Department was founded in September of 1880. One of it's founding members was Wyatt Earp of OK Corral gunfight fame. The original Tombstone Fire Station #1 still stands today at the corner of Toughnut St. & 5th Street.
To represent the community they have sworn to protect, evaluating and responding to all emergent and non emergent calls, working together for a successful outcome.
