We spent almost 3 hours here, and we didn't even notice how time flew. Absolutely amazing science entertainment center. Frankly, I didn't want to leave. Kids were busy all the time. Three hours of exploration and discoveries. Love it. Thank you so much!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$16–20
This was a fun little experience for my family. We were staying in the Dells over spring break and looking for something to do. Our hotel gave us free passes, so we had to check it out. Turns out, I would've paid the entrance fee. So many neat interactive science stations that you can explore at your own pace. Some of the things could definitely use an update, but most of it was super cool and fun for my kids. I especially liked the Soviet space station. The gentleman working there was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the Dells looking for a short family activity.
If you have kids, this is a place that must be. They sell all the adventure tickets with discounts. Stop by before you go anywhere for your tickets. We did like 1.5 hr.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$6–10
This is a great way to spend a few hours. It really did fly by and the kids were entertained the entire time. However, I do have a couple suggestions to truly make this a 5 star experience. A lot of the exhibits look like they haven't been updated or changed since the 80s or 90s. I don't think kids are very impressed by super Nintendo style graphics or simple technologies that were revolutionary but are now modern day occurrences, such as motion detection or light bulbs. Also, the static electricity machine was either down or not turned on when we visited, but had no sign or guidance explaining as to why.
This place was a great time for my kiddos! My husband used to come here as a kid himself, and it was so much fun bringing our kids here! It's a science-focused hands-on place similar to a children's museum. Some of the stuff is old, yes, but still fun!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
I was very surprised at how nice this experience was. The facilities are clean and the staff very friendly, easy parking. The exhibits are accessible and fun for children and adults with varying levels of challenge and amazement. Well worth the visit just to see the Mir Space Station only three ever made, and one burned up in space. The other one is in a museum in Russia. You can add a 4 minute simulator ride for $4.00. Yes some of the technology is from the past, but that's the value of history also. A few more grandparent chairs would be a plus.
Fun place with lots to see and do for all. A wide variety of activities and stations. Some might be a bit dated I remember some of the exhibits from when I was a kid but they are still interesting and funVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
We enjoyed this experience, but mainly because we got free tickets from the hotel we were staying at, and because we went in April during the off-season. It would not be enjoyable if it was crowded. They had a ton of science experiments to try out. It was very hands on and interactive and there was something for everyone. Some of the information and technology is severely outdated, but it has a mom-n-pop feel to it. A few things were broken, not working, or missing pieces. Every exhibit has something to read that explains how to use it and what it all means. You can get through the place in an hour skimming through a lot or spend a few hours doing every single thing. It is a little difficult but not impossible to maneuver through with a stroller. I imagine it would be a nightmare if the place was crowded. The only staff we saw the entire visit was the person working the register in the gift shop. The gift shop was kind of disappointing. It has some souvenirs that advertised their summer attractions, but not much else. A lot of unbranded stuff you might buy with tickets at an arcade--the stuff kids desperately want you to buy for them. You go through it to get out, but you also go through there to pay at the beginning so I imagine it gets a little crowded at times. Overall, we had a good time and would recommend going if you can keep your expectations manageable.
Great place to take the kids for fun and learning. My wife and I took our 4 year old and 6 year old and we spent about 2 hours exploring all the exhibits and attractions. There were even cool exhibits for the adults. The place is split up into 4 separate rooms sectors and there's a space shuttle exhibit with a stimulator ride for an additional fee. The price of admission was more than fair and the customer service was excellent. Definitely, check this place out, it's fun for the whole family.
Went with 3 young adults. It was fun just goofing around with all the neat experiments. A little crowded due to rain but that's expected I miss the Robot World part that used to be there but all in all a great time.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$11–15
