Toms River Park and Ride Bus Station

This bus station is only open for a couple of hours on the weekdays and does not have any accessible seating that is sheltered from the elements, bathrooms or multiple forms of payment in order to purchase a ticket if you're traveling from one bus to another, such as from Port Authority in NYC. I would say it has a nostalgic charm to it, but it really doesn't. You better hope you can get a ride or have friends in the area. Work needs to be done.

I'm a very big fan of NJ transit here! This bus station is not the cleanest but service is frequent. I have never not had issues getting around the State of New Jersey. NJ Transit does a great job.

Here now no place to sit because the homeless have took over sleeping on the benches or stretch out so you cant sit its 90 degrees out the smell is horrible the inside is close will definitely just uber or lyft to my destination for now on out

Premises appears to lack any sort of routine maintenance which is much needed. Payment methods are outdated. Lacks cleanliness. A few full time residents live on the property.

What a dump. With terrible hours and these conditions, no wonder why people don't want to take mass transit. It is a shame.

This bus station is only open for a couple hours a day, they only have one employee, and worse of all the township cut all the trees down and removed all the benches

Dirty. Outdoor seating is in direct sunlight. Bathrooms aren't always open. People pee in the bushes on the regular. It serves its purpose as a drop off/pick up/transfer point. That's about it. I'd rather use Lakewood when possible...at least there's a security person there if I need help.

All good with NJTransit buses and drivers, my only complaint is that the ticket office doesn't accept credit cards!!! Cash only,these days few people carry a lot of cash on them. They do have an ATM with high service fee,so bring cash!!!

I wait for the bus and always shady people around, the place inside is always closed, I don't feel safe especially at night, their should be a coffee shop there and place to sit inside that's clean. Never open

The inside waiting is very rarely open. Sometimes you have to wait an hour or more for a bus. No outside restrooms. If I have to wait over an hour for a bus outside, port o John’s should be made available. Many homeless and drug deals go on here too
