Located just outside of Buffalo in Tonawanda, NY, we are the closest bowling center to the University at Buffalo (UB) We have great specials on bowling, 48 taps featuring 30 local brews only $5 a pint and the best BBQ in the area.

This bowling center gets a lot of business. The lanes were nice and oiled and worked for the most part. We didn't have any problems bowling. The lanes next to us kept breaking down. There were no bowling balls with finger holes big enough for my son and I, which was ridiculous. They were mostly for dainty women or kids. Bring your own ball and hope that the lanes work for you. The shoes that you rent were very worn. This bowling alley needs some renovations and new equipment.
Haven't bowled in years...fun place to play. Didn't eat or drink, so can only comment on the bowling. Front desk was kind enough to pull out bumpers for my son.
So my family's first time was on this last new years eve 12/31/2021. The advertisement online listed a new years night deal were up to 6 people will get one lane for 3 hours, a pizza, and a pitcher of soda for around $90. However when we got there, we were charged $140, got two lanes for 5 people then told no pizza or soda was included with the purchase price. My wife complained and so did the group next to our lane and the management agreed to give us the pizza but no soda. While we did appreciate that concession from them, it was really aggravating to not get what they had advertised. Soon after that, we noticed the original online advertisement for the new years eve party was taken down... Anyways, the pizza was really really good. They have 43 beers on tap including one of my favorites - Flying Bison's Rusty Chain. A pitcher of Rusty Chain and a pitcher of Sprite cost me around $30 total. Summary: I'll admit I wasn't happy about the cost of the new years eve package not matching what they advertised, but everyone enjoyed themselves and the food and drink we good. I would recommend this place for family bowling but just understand as with most things now a days, you're going to be paying a lot.
My granddaughters birthday party was here. They had so much fun with the lights out and music going. I thought maybe she was to young to enjoy but her and friends loved it. She just turned four.
Not happy at all recently. Have used this place for years. My 15yr old has bowled on a league evert year since he was 4 and my daughters started their first year bowling this past season. My husband, in laws and I joined a league as well and it's just embarrassing here now. They rarely oil the lanes for night leagues before start time and usually haven't oiled them since before the AM kids league on Saturdays or midnight bowling the night before. Our balls got all marked up from the ball return due to the extremely dry lane conditions. We started bringing our own snacks/drinks as well bc the waitress never makes it down to our lanes and if she does it's it's too late bc we are al.osy done. Very disappointed with this place the past few years.
Friendly Advice: Don't use Lanes 11 and 12. They've chipped off pieces of my bowling balls on 3 different occasions during league and I haven't been offered to have them buffed out by their pro shop as a result of this
I recently visited a bowling center during the winter and had a great time! Well, I wouldn’t say it’s the best place to be if you’re looking for a sunny beach day but it’s the perfect spot to curl up with a warm cup of cocoa and bowl the night away! The lanes were well-maintained and the alley attendants were friendly and knowledgeable. The place also provided comfortable seating and had a great selection of snacks. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun evening activity during the colder months!
I go here with my friends every week and I absolutely adore it so much. Carrie at the bar is wonderful, such a kind person, and so is the chef, Robert. They are always so kind to their regulars and make sure to give everyone a great experience. The food is always piping hot and delicious, and any issues with the lanes are always fixed very promptly. On top of that, the prices for everything are always very reasonable. The staff is truly best of the best here- I have nothing but great things to say about Tonawanda Lanes.
The lanes stink!! Bowl on a league here. Every single week the lanes break. Pins drop out all over or there are missing pins. Finally put us on other lanes. But, we are the last ones to leave. I have always liked it here but these last couple of years the place has gone down hill. Missing tiles in ceiling, areas where the rug is coming up. It's just sad to see this happening here. Time to find another place to bowl....
Great place to bowl and friendly staff. My son had been bowling here for about 8 years and has improved so much. We've met lots of really nice people and made good friends. The place is clean, has bubble hockey, darts, a pool table and a bar.
