ToolLife (www.toollife.org) is a registered nonprofit that collects & distributes tools people need to work, escape poverty & improve their communities.
ToolLife fosters economic opportunities for people in need by providing: (a) access to modern mechanized tools to poor farmers and workers in developing nations through locally owned and operated micro-businesses, and (b) hand tools to development and vocational training programs, schools and nonprofits in the US and abroad to distribute to their students, graduates, volunteers and beneficiaries.
To collect and distribute tools that people need to work, escape poverty, and improve their communities.
Current projects include: equipping volunteer forest firefighters in the Amazon Basin; providing tools to students in Tanzania so they can learn a trade; and building a village in Honduras from poverty.
