Tooth and Nail Armory - Lic. FFL

About

Full service gunshop. We buy, sell and trade firearms. Full time gunsmith. Outdoor range. Knowledgeable staff. 1 on 1 training as well as CCW classes.

Description

Tooth and Nail Armory was started in Oct of 2012 in response to a product we made for our own use in 3 gun competitions, a 13 round magazine, and the aluminum forend for the Akdal MKA 1919.

Since that time, we have added several more products to our manufacturing line. We bring the same level of customer service to this business as we have in our other business.

We strive to give the same excellent customer service to our Tooth and Nail Armory clients that we provide to agricultural business clients ... a business we've owned for over 24 years. Our agricultural business covers about 40,000 acres, for 475 customers. We provide crop protection and nutrient application. Our products must be delivered and/or applied, in a matter of hours, in many cases.

We have also built and operated a race track for ATV’s and motorcycles, for over 10 years. There we built and maintained our own race engines. Additionally, we have background in building equipment, from small items all the way up to 375 HP, 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steer, and mobile equipment. We do all of our own maintenance and repairs.

Mission

To satisfy the Customer.

These guys may know their guns, but their customer service is lacking. Left a gun to be zeroed, said two days. Finally, after over a week of calling, I bugged them enough to get my gun back. Bought a shroud for my optic. Said it would be in in a couple days. After a month, was told they hadn't ordered it yet. So, they ended up selling me a used one at full price. Still I bought a new pistol from them. Said they would zero it. It was not zeroed. Finally, the last straw was I was going to buy a new optic from them, but needed an adapter plate. Josh said give him a day. He took my number. Silly of me to think he would call and of course he didn't. I called after a week. Josh said he still had my number Its been three weeks, still no call. To sum up. Poor customer service. Was ready to buy another pistol and two long rifles but I won't from them. Found another gun store that provides better service. I'm done with Tooth and Nail.
Drop my turn off for the load port to be shaved and he told me it would only take about a to do it but the wait time was 4 to 8 weeks I told him nine weeks later and he said that he was going to get to it the beginning of next week I waited another month called again, and he said the same exact thing that he was gonna get to it at the beginning of next week so I told him no it’s OK that I’m going to come pick it up tomorrow then he said OK I will tell Gun Smith to put it back together but didn’t know why he would have to put it back together if he hasn’t even got to it went to pick it up and it was covered in dust so I know that it wasn’t in touched Then I asked if I could have my deposit back and he said no there’s no refund on it even though he didn’t do no work on it I would not recommend this company they lie. And they do not keep their word.
Recently I had to send my Kimber Pistol in for a Safety Recall that I had purchased through Tooth and Nail Armory, which they handled returning it for me. I received it back and was shooting it and a live round got stuck in the chamber not allowing me to manually eject the unfired round. Needless to say I was not very happy, so I took it back to Tooth and Nail where Josh was able to successfully remove it with a little force. The problem wasn't with the gun but I had purchased off the internet what was advertised as new ammo to find out that they were reloads and were not properly reloaded. Lesson learned only going to purchase ammo from the dealer that sold me my firearm. Thank You Josh for taking time out of your busy day to fix it the same day I brought it back. Great place to do business.
Bought a 20 rd drum for my vr80 shotgun, shipping was fast, product looked great, loaded it, after 2 shots it fell apart. Faulty mag, emailed Josh n showed him the mag n video of it falling apart, he said he'd send a replacement n return label for busted mag, that was on April 5th, haven't heard back or responded to my email from Wednesday. I feel like I got screwed over. If the mag does show up or I get money back or a response to whats going on, I might remove this 1
Great quality product trigger I have bought from them and even more exceptional service and help. I was having an issue with my shotgun and they emailed me back and fourth with great detail and care about getting my gun to work again in which they told me what was wrong immediately and it was fixed. Highly recommend
I've bought 3 guns here and love the place. Joshua and Matt are great with there customer service and will help you any way they can and I don't think I've ever seen them not smiling. Great place too shop for all you defense and hunting needs. I can't say enough about the store other then highly recommend it!!!!!
Recently took a CCW class here. I’ve had a CCW permit since the 90’s while living in Florida but needed to get a new Missouri permit after moving to Missouri. Great course taught by some nice people! If you’re looking for a friendly place to take the state required course, I’d recommend Tooth & Nail Armory! A++++ facility!
Great store, great guys, very knowledgeable and friendly. Purchased a custom trigger for my VR80 and had it installed by Josh. Runs like a champ. Make sure you stop by if you're in town.
I brought in one of my guns that i recently bought at scheels and was jambing. Without an appointment they worked on it immediately, i was on the road in about 20 minutes! The gun operates as new now! Great store, highly recomend!
Only place I could find that carried a safety detent ball for a vr80. 5 stars. I don't really care for my unreliable shotgun, but appreciate the armory carrying the part.
