Love this store! Workers are friendly and the clothing is really fun and funky. Good quality too.
Despite there only being one staff member who was not willing to assist much, my sister and I were able to find what we needed since Torrid has such a wide variety of options in store.
Super easy to get sucked in, but can almost always find something I "NEED"!!
I love shopping at this store - all the workers are very friendly and helpful. I have been there about a dozen times in the last few months and will continue to go back. store is kept clean and neat. I was referred by a friend and im sure glad she told me. never a bad experience when I go there. plus size fashionable comfortable clothing!
The store was clean, the associates weren't very knowledgeable on sizing and seemed bothered any time I would ask for assistance. The quality of clothing was there and of course, so was the price tag. For reference, I purchased one bathing suit and 2 bras and the total was $196.
Went to Torrid yesterday 1/6/20 with the main goal of doing a return and getting fitted for a bra. There was 1 women working and she said hi when I walked in. I stood at the counter and had to tell her I had a return to do since she didn’t acknowledge me standing there. She did the return but still seemed kind of short with me. Then I asked if anyone was available to do a bra fitting. She said yes and grabbed measuring tape and did it right at the checkout counter. While there was no one else in the store but me and my mom, it still made me uncomfortable that we were out in the open. Every other place i’ve been has taken you into a fitting room. She then asked what size I was currently wearing and I told her the band was too big. She then questioned “are you sure it’s that size?” as if I wouldn’t know what size i’ve been wearing for over a year. Nevertheless she gave me some bras to try on then I continued shopping elsewhere in the store. For the fact that I only get to a Torrid store maybe 3 times a year since the closest location is about 45 minutes away and every other experience has been great, this one was awful. I still brought some great items with great sales. I love torrid and will continue to shop there online.
The 2 women who work here are amazing. I wish I knew thier names because they deserve a customer service award. One of the girls even sized me for a bra just by looking at me and she was correct!!!!!! Thank you for always being amazing when I'm in there
I went into Torrid today for my first time ever since I have gained a lot of weight since my child was born. When I started looking around, I was immediately confused because they don't go by any size range that I've ever seen before. Everything, including shirts, pants, underwear and sportsbras are sized 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. I had no idea what that meant. I had to go find a worker to ask and she gave me a bare minimal response. Her answer was, "they go sizes 10 and up". I'm not slow so I understood what she was saying but she was just very short with me. And considering it's a store for sizes 10-30 and 6 sizes are listed, it still didn't fully add up to me. Thankfully I'd only be a 00 or a 0 or I would have just walked out then. I tried on several outfits... Nothing fit well. The bras which are normal sizing were huge on me even when I sized down. The pants fit awkwardly on me, taking away from my natural curves and flushing me out. The shirt didn't sit right. There we're plenty of cute things that I didn't try on but they were priced so high.. Even little tanktops were $40 - no thanks. Not for a generic tank. They know that there's women who are overweight who will be stuck shopping there so they jack up the prices. I bought nothing.
Hit or miss. The staff is either great or rude. The first time I went an employee named Ally helped me and she was AMAZING and made me go back.. but the next two times I went, the girls were judgy and kind of rude. In a store that prides itself on love and being non judgemental, some of the staff makes it hard for me to take the drive there. UPDATE: I have reached out to the customer service team with an email and phone call. They assured me that someone from the region would be in touch with me.... that was 4 MONTHS AGO. I've received no follow up and no help what so ever. Not to mention, I STILL WENT THERE in October and it was a complete disaster, I was on line and on the phone with corporate for over 2 hours on a Sunday. This is making it really hard for me to return and spend my money at this place. *****SOMEONE, PLEASE REACH OUT.
Great local store but their corporate customer service is horrible. Received notification almost 2 weeks ago that my order was on its way to the store. Call toll free number to check on the status. Was cut off 3 times. Called the store itself and out the order has been sitting there for more than a week.
