All the staff at Torrington eye care were and are very helpful. Dr.S helped me with my peculiar stigmatism and took the time to look further into my eye and found that I have Iritis which if left untreated can cause significant Damage to my Iris and overall vision. All in all, The service, professionalism and knowledge of vision at Torrington eye care is the best I’ve come to know.
As evidenced by the numerous positive reviews, the docs at this practice are phenomenal. Dr. S is patient, thorough and knowledgeable. You won’t find a more attentive doctor in the area. This family-owned business has been successfully managed for 70 years… they’re clearly doing something right!
Overall outstanding office. There is not a single employee that didn't show respect and care for my needs. Highly recommend!
If I could give them zero stars I would. The absolute WORSTTT experience I have ever had. The doctor is amazing but the office staff is always rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go. Edit to add: Office should consider recording patient calls for quality assurance as they seem to be very confused on patient issues and the way their staff is handling it. Hopefully in the future they hire some more capable and better trained staff. Preferably those educated on the federal Eyeglass Rule and why it is against HIPPA to withhold patient records from patients. A formal HIPPA complaint has been filed. As someone who’s worked in healthcare I could never imagine treating my patients so disgustingly and then proceeding to lie about it.
The eye doctor was great. But the people at the desk/ whoever makes appointments are so rude! I had to cancel an appointment due to the birth of my son. They literally have ignored every request for me to make another appointment. 5 months ago we were told not to make an appointment and that I will get a “call soon” if someone cancels.Well I haven’t and they are continuing to not let us schedule one. My Husband has been going here for over 20 years but we are switching to somewhere else. ** After receiving response for my review I had to add that we were NEVER contacted. And you will NOT let us make an appointment. Nice try with the lie though. **
Doctor was incredible!! Staff was absolutely horrible. Very rude and didn’t answer any questions I had. The first time we went I wasn’t even greeted at the window. Will be switching because of the office staff.
Great office. Very thorough and accommodating staff from front to back. I've never had a bad experience with the office and they've kept patient care and safety at the forefront through a very difficult time. Dr. Sirignano is great and I would recommend him and his staff to anyone in the greater Torrington area. Easy choice to continue seeing him despite moving about 40 minutes away. Excellent care!
My daughter went for contacts. They were very thorough. The office staff always answered all my insurance questions without hesitation.
Dr. Erick Sirigano is an excellent optometrist. He's very good at explaining the necessity of glasses, contacts, and other testing needed to keep you up to date with your best vision. He has state of the art equipment and computer software, so that he can give you the best eye care possible. He has the ability to take care of all ages of children and adults. Everyone in his office is friendly, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make you comfortable. I'd reccomend this practice to a friend.
Fantastic practice, highly recommend!! I have been going to Dr Sirignano for several years trust him & his staff completely. We will be taking our daughter there in a few years as well when she is due to start getting regular checkups. Addendum, 12/2022- I still cannot recommend Dr Sirignano & this practice more. I have received the highest of care I could ever imagine here, which is saying something being a healthcare professional myself. Both myself and my daughter have been so well cared for.
