I wish I could leave 0 stars.. I went in to sell some gently used clothing and to buy some things as well. When I walked in, nobody was in the store and she came in the back door once she saw me waiting. She seemed to be in a rush and annoyed by my presence. I brought in my tub of clothing which I went through prior to make sure they were acceptable for sale no tears, stains, and were current to what she was asking for I folded them nicely and put them in the tub and gave them to her and went to go look around while I waited. She called me back over within a few minutes and rudely said "I can't take any of this because it's all stained." I laughed because there were zero stains on anything and there were nice name brand items in there. But I thought whatever your loss. Then I got some items and checked out and I attempted to make small talk and she was still rude and treated me like she had no time for me and was too good for me. I will never return to her store because of this experience. You can't run a business by being a stuck up jerk to all of your customers.
The owner is extremely rude. I was a customer in great clips and she came over cussing out one of the stylist over a parking spot. Very unprofessional.
I was in the store for about ten minutes and i checked out and got the shorts i wanted. So i left. I went to dollar tree and i changed my mind about them so i walked back to the store and the door was unlocked. I looked around the store and no one was there. Me and My friend said Hello? Hello? about 30 times and no answer. We looked out the door and saw her smoking in the back. Leaving her own store unattended. Wow.
This place is discriminatory, I inquired about shoes and offered to call in and pay over the phone in order to reserve them. Never received any response. Another woman that was caucasian then commented and asked for the same shoes to which she was responded to immediately, when I tried to call after reading the response to the other woman she told me they were already sold. I love to support small business but will not support someone who will pick and choose who she will provide business to, a professional place would do first come first serve.
Updated Review3/2022: I have taken in clothes to sell. She went through my tub of clothes and gave me an offer within 5 minutes. I would say it might have been maybe $2 per item- which is reasonable for used items even if they’re “brand new”. Her guidelines are based on season, condition, and her store inventory. She noticed stains I missed on items and was kind during the whole process. Original Review 2021: The store is clean and racks nicely organized by size, not overflowing with cheap clothes. I saw good quality clothing and toys, nothing stained or broken. The lady working was kind and helpful when I was confused about pricing. I thought the pricing was fair for the quality and condition the items are in.
The owner, or employee whomever was very rude each time I’ve been in there, you inquire what she’s wanting/needing to sell. You have a resale shop, not a LV store, get off your high horse lady! Needless to say some items in there were great, just can’t support it! HARD NO for me
This is such a great shop. I have a 3 month old, and I don't want to pay full price for things she'll only wear a few weeks. Tot Spot has lots of gently used items, from clothes and swaddles to toys and Pack & Plays. Their prices are reasonable and I always check here first when I need something for my baby.
They were very rude. Husband went in to find out their procedures for selling our used clothes and was told only half of what we needed to know. Took clothes in to sell to them and she was snooty and told us she couldn't take them because i had them in bags and that they stopped taking stuff at noon. Very rude, first and only time in there. Woukf rather wait the long wait times to sell to Once Upon A Child in Fairview Heights. Will never go back to this place and will tell everyone i know not to waste their time or money
For a resale their clothes are very nice and clean good selections. And pretty good prices on toys. Very friendly. Been several times, plan on going weekly to see new stuff. Granddaughter loves it also
They have incredibly reasonable prices! he seller won't sell anything with holes or that looks worn out meaning everything you buy is in great condition. I've found them to be quite helpful and kind. One of my favorite stores by far!
