Total Health Chiropractic
We're a chiropractic clinic that provides specialized treatment for a broad range of health conditions. We use Applied Kinesiology as our primary diagnostic tool to determine the root cause of the problem. Once the cause has been determined, Dr. Grondin develops a treatment plan that is specific to your needs.
The treatment techniques that might be used include:
nutritional therapy
massage therapy
chiropractic adjustments
myofascial release
accupressure
reflexology
cranio-sacral therapy
injury recall technique
vertebral distraction technique
Often a patient with recurring joint pains or recurring health conditions has something wrong with their chemistry so Dr. Grondin might order lab work. He might also assess the dietary status to determine if there's a food sensitivity.
Dr. Grondin employs a holistic philosophy in evaluating a persons health status. He's going to look at your structure, your chemistry, and your emotional state to determine the root cause of the problem.
Dr. Grondin started his career as a medic (corpsman) in the Navy where he examined, diagnosed and treated people for minor illnesses under the direction of an M.D. When then Petty Officer Grondin left the military, he became a nurse and worked on the medical/ surgical unit at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital for a number of years. Though he began taking Pre-med courses at Oakland University he changed his mind and and chose to become a chiropractor instead. Dr. Grondin graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in the fall of 1988 and has been in practice in Port Huron since 1989.
