Being from New York all my life and eating Italian food kind of 24/7 I know good food this is more like a Greek type of a setup because I tried a few things in there already and still go back to the same thing little lasagna that's the safest thing to me to eat in there I tried veal parmesan and spaghetti lot of room for improvements very low on flavors the meat is not flattened out like it should be it's just not all there now the desserts I had no problem with specially the tiramisu that was perfect like I said it's a good restaurant it's a hit and miss depending on what you're ordering and it has a lot of room for improvements also the restaurant is kept up nice and clean the only thing is it's very warm in there needs the AC on colder for customers to keep out germs so we definitely recommend it in our recommendation to you is the lasagna the Greek salad and the tiramisu we hope this review help you out also forgot to mention please make reservations it would make it easy for your own set of sitting in the reservation area
Delicious food, excellent service with a lot of attention, highly recommended! Make sure to reserve a table. We tried the burrata with garlic bread - flavorful but just a tad too buttery. Amazing eggplant lasagna - highly impressed by the vegetarian options. Tiramisu was perfect!
What a fantastic find for us in FLA. Being native New Jerseyans, we thought there was no way that we'd find Italian food that was any good in North Florida, BUT not only was the food fantastic, the service was phenomenal thanks to Emil, the atmosphere was a perfect replica of NY/NJ eateries, and the prices were great! A definite stop on your way through or around Tallahassee!!
After hearing many, many rave reviews for years, I was so excited to finally make our way here. And really, it lived up to the hype. Our family shared an order of the cheese bread, then I ordered the chicken parmigiana, which came with a side salad as well. And that chicken parmigiana was HUGE! But it was also so cheesy and extra delicious. I literally only ate half of it, and took the other half home. My kids ordered the Alfredo from the kids meal, and that was a huge portion too, and so creamy and yummy. My husband ordered a medium meat pizza, and took half home. I didn't taste that myself, but he said it was really good. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes! We were there with my kids and in-laws, but it looks like such a cozy great date night place too.
We ordered a large Napoleon Pizza. There was very little pepperoni, cheese, and sausage. I tasted no garlic. Not the tastiest pizza and it was overcooked which made it dry. The bottom is all black. The spaghetti w/ meatballs are okay. I've toured Italy, Rome & Milan and this pizza doesn't compare.Food: 2/5
Must do reservation’s, but definitely worth it. The service was great, the meal was great too. Had the veal parmigiana and recommend highly. Made sure to order my pasta Al dente and they accommodated without question. The overall experience was good, will return.
By far one of the best restaurants in North Florida forget just Tallahassee. Authentic Italian cuisine at remarkable prices. The customer service is impeccable, the atmosphere is immaculate, and the staff from owners down to the servers are the best in town bar none. I would have posted a picture of the food but it was so amazing that I devoured it before I could post it. This was my first visit to Tour of Italy but it is most certainly not my last. ***Also $9.95 lunch special gets you a feast fit for royalty ***
Would have been five stars because the food quality and flavor was definitely five stars, but service was not. We could see staff chatting and joking while our order still hadn't been put in. Had to wait far too long for drinks, and not even offered water while we wait. Dish washer must have been having a rough day. Glasses had food stuck to inside of glass and multiple pieces of the flatware were not clean. Waited a long time and finally had to flag down another server to ask for to-go boxes and check. We will try again, of course. Food quality makes up for a lot, and if they can fix these issues this will be a spectacular option. Pizza was phenomenal, if not best in town. Calamari was on point, and not too chewy We also loved the Eggplant Florentino, Lasagna, and Calzones -- all were great.
I had heard on FB foodies that this was the best Italian so we drove across town. The portions were huge and good prices. We had Spaghetti with meat sauce and Meat Lovers Spaghetti. Both were delicious. The stuffed mushroom were great. We only waited 10 minutes for a seat. There is outside seating of it ever stops raining.Food: 5/5
What an amazing restaurant! We celebrated my son's college graduation from FAMU on the patio with about 30 friends and family members. When I walked into the patio area, the decor made me feel like I had been transported to a small italian village. The buffet was delicious and the service was impeccable! Our server was friendly and professional. The owner of the facility took the time to help me coordinate the event and ensured that the pricing was very reasonable. If you ever want to celebrate a large event in a cozy atmosphere, this is definitely the place to do it. Thanks again to all of the amazing staff and kudos to the chef!!!
