Could not be happier with this campground, it's quaint I believe there are about 20 spots. Every spot is wonderful and spacious! And plenty of room for parking as well. We just got here a couple of days ago. But have been full time camping for almost 4 years now because of my husband's job as a contractor. So far this is the best campground we have been too. The lake and corn fields provide plenty of privacy and on top of it all there is fishing! If you're looking for a weekend getaway or something long term, the prices are very fair and you won't be disappointed!
Carp tournaments are back in action! My dad has partnered with the property owner to restore the lake to a point equal to or greater than its glory days. We have re-rocked the road, pulled a few trees out of the water, extended the access on the right side to allow fishing past the end of the circle, and most of the camping arrangements are taken care of by my dad himself. He also has started the carp tournaments up again! We will help you park and unhitch your campers if needed, as well as other general assistance with things for those who need it, and we do a thorough job of keeping the riff raff and loud people away. We do our best to make sure it is a quiet, relaxing space for all ages to enjoy. Whether youre 9 or 99, we pride ourselves on making our slice of heaven into your slice of heaven too. Our next goal is to be able to stock the lake again for the first time in probably 30 years or more. The banks have also deteriorated over time, which makes the water more shallow, which limits the maximum size of fish that can survive in the lake. So we would really like to be able to dredge the lake bottom out deeper as well and reinforce the banks with rock. For that, we need your help. All you have to do is please come on down to the lake and relax! If you're feeling generous, you can also leave donations in the collection box. Just please mark an envelope with something like "fish stock donation" or "lake improvement donation" so that Amy doesn't mistake them for paid pole fees and my dad can set them aside until there's enough for a load of fish to be delivered. We look forward to seeing you there! Playground: Small playground at a key point of the lake allowing ease of mind to your children playing because you can see them from nearly anywhere on the lake. Restrooms: Standard porta potty on both sides of the lake Dog-friendliness: Extremely dog friendly for quiet and friendly dogs. Must NOT be aggressive towards other dogs or people, and must NOT be a constant barker. You are required to pick up after them as well. You may allow dogs to swim at your own risk outside of tournament hours. We will not make a fuss about your dog jumping into the water and swimming, but it's YOUR dog, so assess the risk of hooks at your own discretion. Picnic area: A few picnic tables are located near the playground
This place was awesome. It is quiet and the owner great. She responded quickly when we needed her to. We were there 3 months. It is reasonably priced. The only hard thing is there is no sewer hook up but they offer a weekly dumping service. We would go back in a heart beat.
Nice peaceful Campground a lot of fish but the dump station was full so no place to dump your RVs

Beautiful lake with fishing. If you are using a tent, make note that there is only a Port-A-Potty and a community outdoor water faucet to use, so be sure to pack a basin. Neighboring campers were very quiet, but you could hear the traffic from the interstate while sleeping. Very relaxed management that allows you to pick your own site and set up prior to check in. Camp site fees include some fishing. Payment is via cash or check only no credit cards. Very nice place to camp with your family.
First trip there. It was definitely quiet and peaceful. However, for a pay to fish lake, I only get 2 very small nibbles on a couple hours and tried a few different techniques. I'll try again and change my review if necessary. Just the first pay lake I've been to and not caught something.
Under New Management! Drunk Lady in The Camper next to the Old bait shop that is supposed to be looking after the place is running the fishermen off! Even after Paying to camp, stating there is no fishing after 11pm! I've Lived in this Town for almost 40 years! This place has never been this Bad! This Place Is A JOKE!!!!!!!!
They need to restart the carp derbys that they had twice a week, they use to have money and trophy tournaments. Other then that it's all good. The property is clean and safe.
