Town Grill Cafe

Went there last Fri after reading reviews won't be going back..clam chowder soup was tasteless..barely any class. Rolls were good. Our dirty dishes were never cleared. Got fish with shrimp the shrimp were frozen the fish was just ok one piece was the size of my baby finger. Waitress forgot my daughter's dinner she got broiled cod all small bite size pieces her food came and was barely warm. Water never refilled without having to ask.

The broasted chicken was absolutely delicious. Crisp, light skin, and perfectly cooked and juicy. The salad was simple, but fresh. No wilty leaves. My husband's burger was overdone past his preference, but was fine. Soup bar was lovely, service was great. Would definitely come back for the chicken. Free pancakes for kids until noon on the weekends.

I wish I can give 5 stars . This place been always my favorite for me and my family. I'm writing here so the owner may see this and do something about it. I went today to have my breakfast with my family and I asked the waitress if I can get a soup instead of hash brown and she was so nice as usual like all the staff there in the front and the back and she approved it for me. While I'm getting my soup at the soup bar I saw that lady who used to be a hostess but now I think she is acting a manager maybe!. She wasn't ok with me getting a soup as a side even if the waitress approved it for me. She talked to me very rudely in front of everyone at the soup bar while everyone is looking at me like I'm stealing the soup and I was in a such embarrassing situation that ruined my whole day .

I was hired to photograph some menu items. The owner Stephen and his wife have worked here for 22 years and this is where they met. He started as a busboy and moved up to cook then owner about 3 years ago. When Covid struck, all hands on deck and his wife and kids worked hard to keep things going. They owe much of their success to a loyal customer base. Consistency and freshness seems to be their redeeming quality. I had the broasted chicken, avocado salad and apple pie. All were so tasty, filling and fresh. Take a moment to look at these dishes. You can see the tasty dishes for yourself. The prices are very reasonable too. The atmosphere and service is perfect. I highly recommend you stop in here. If I lived in this area, this would be my regular stop.

This place is really Cozy! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Also if you come in on Sundays THEY HAVE A BREAKFAST BUFFET for 15.99 if I'm not mistaken. I ended up just getting a omlette and hashbrowns instead .. I never had hasbrowns made like this... and they taste super good! If you in a area you should legit give it a try :

Livonia Town grill is definitely the hot spot for the 70+ year old crowd in the Livonia area! They have a daily soup bar that is included with most meals. We've dined here over the years. It's a family-style restaurant with a decent menu that addresses most tastes. It doesn't serve alcohol, so the prices are more affordable than the big name restaurants, which is exactly what many people want.Food: 5/5
