T was very helpful and sincere in dealing with me. An officer followed up with me later in the evening to check on outcomes.
If I could give 0 I most definitely would. Whatever woman I talked to asked me “why don’t you do something?” As an animal lover I wouldn’t be able to fathom saying that to someone crying and pleading for help with an animal.
Clifton Park Animal Control l are extremely caring and know the laws. They are busy and you may have to play phone tag, if you care about animals contact them first
Lady we talked to was so friendly. Turns out many of the neighbors had already called about the deer that was huddling between two houses. Turns out it was okay.
A disabled dog I didn't recognize came up my driveway and into my garage. We have allergies, so I knew I had to convince her to go. She ran up and down the street looking confused. I called animal control because I didn't want her to get hit by a car. A very lovely lady answered the phone and came right over. She found the dog and the owner. The dog is blind and deaf. I didn't want the owner to get in trouble, she had no tags. Owner was very appreciative, dog was safe. Thanks to that caring lady who came to our rescue!
Wish they had someone available after hours. I've ran I to multiple animal related emergencies out on the road at night, i.e. injured dog found on the street wandering at 3am. Need a 24hr hotline. Because the Sheriff had no idea what to even tell me or how to help me.
