Newfane was incorporated as a Town in 1824 and is comprised of six hamlets; Newfane, Olcott, Wright’s Corners, Appleton, Ridgewood and Burt. We support a population of 9,650 very friendly and hard working folks.
Newfane is located on NY State Route 78 and is the hub of the Town. The Town Hall and Community Center are located here, along with Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane Central School, Newfane Health and Rehabilitation Center, Newfane Free Library, US Post Offices, three Volunteer Fire Companies, large supermarkets, banking facilities, a hardware store, barber and beauty shops, fine eating establishments, and many small retail businesses that are sure to meet your every day needs.
