What is School Club??
Also known as a PTA or PTO, School Club is an organization of parents, caregivers and teachers getting together to increase parent involvement in the school community and raise money for special events, activities and special purchases.
Do you remember how going on field trips was the best part of school?!? Guess where that funding comes from?
The Townshend Elementary School Club sponsors: Circus Residency, Field Trips, Winter Sports, Craft Day, Holiday Meal, End of Year Picnic, Soccer, Playground Improvement, Teacher Appreciation Day, and so much more!
We're now offering childcare (if you RSVP early) at school during the meetings! Currently, we meet the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30~8:30 pm.
We are always looking for more participants! You don't have to come every month (although it is helpful). We have fun, get stuff done and work towards improving our children's school experience! Fresh ideas are great.
Do evenings just not work for you, but you'd still like to be involved? We'd love your help on a committee or event! Let us know what you're interested in and how you'd like to help.
