There is only one Officer at the front desk to assist the public. Before hearing an individual's concern, people are told that there is a line of people to be served. I have been waiting 1 hour 45 minutes thus far to make a missing person's report. There is no confidentiality. Names, addresses and cases are discussed in AR.
So glad we have these officers protecting us and keeping our community safe. Everyone from this station/precinct that I’ve ever had contact with has been very professional and helpful. I’ve also seen them interact with others in the area and they’re extremely courteous regardless of what or who they’re dealing with. It’s a tough job even more-so in today’s world and I know that while they often see and experience so many people at their worst, I hope they realize how thankful the law-abiding citizens of Towson are for their service. Thank you for doing the difficult job that so many people could never imagine doing.
How am I supposed to believe in "Integrity" when officers are blocking crosswalks to grab fast food? Are they above the rules they claim to enforce?
My experiece with this dept as well as my friend was the worst. We went there on feb 1,2012 to lodge a complaint regarding forgery in which both our signatures where forged and our private information used by a former employer---All that we experieced from the officer that was in duty at the lobby of the police station as well as the others in the background was total unprofessional behaviour of being ridicule regarding our complaint,, laughter and to make it worst we where given the runaround... told that since we where NOT residents of Townson MD we could NOT make a report of the incident which occurred in their town. We did NOT get any cooperation whatsoever.. It was one big joke to them. There was no compassion and total indiference to the horrible experience that we where going through and that we where victims of. Those officers especially the one that was laughing do not deserve the wear the uniform. They are a disgrace to their department and their behaviour reflects on everyone there.
I want to premise this review by saying I respect and sincerely appreciate the men and women who serve. That said, I was surprised and disappointed by the lack of assistance or so much as interest.
Called over 90 minutes ago about a car accident and the response I get is we're busy.
