This was my first visit here and I'm so happy I came! My appointment was for balayage and a cut and everyone was fantastic. Katie did my color it looks amazing, McKenna did my wash and Dani did my cut which I love. They were all so kind and friendly! It was a really busy day there but no one rushed and I felt like each of them really cared that I loved my hair. love this place and will be back for my nails and hair!
You were left 3 very nice messages today explaining a very difficult situation, while you were in the salon and you did not call us back and the associates at salon could not tell me why you left and didn't call back.I will not publicly say what this pertains to, but we are very disappointed that you as the owner could not even return a call to a good customer. Unfortunately, because you wouldn't return my calls, I had to reach out to you here. RESPONSE : I was in no way disrespectful at all to your associates. You, as the owner, should have gotten on the phone to tell me that you had already charged her $120 and there was nothing you could do- II was told you were the only one who could discuss this with so I left my number. You chose to ignore me instead. I was told 2 times you would call me back & I was very polite. I made another call to your salon to see if I could come in to get my hair done in her stead so Dani had work instead of sitting there with no client - I actually felt terrible. But now that I see your disrespectful response below, you apparently were happy to get free money and walk out for the day instead of having the courtesy and respect to call back. Perhaps you need to take some customer service courses young lady and then one day you'll be able to handle situations directly with your clients instead of making your associates take messages that you will never have the guts to respond to over the phone. Feeling ignored and disrespected is never a way to leave someone feeling in the business world. I wasn't asking for a refund by the way- never did I say those words.......Service: Hairstyling
Chloe is amazing! Go see her, you won't be disappointed. The salon is comfortable and cozy and makes you feel welcome!. And there are some really great people working there. I always have fun when I go in.
I go to Cleveland somewhat often for work, and Tres Chic is my go-to salon for hair color. I don’t even get my hair done where I live because any other salon just doesn’t posses the hospitality, the determination to get the customer what they want, and the efficiency that they do. I have also been unfortunate enough to be charged for my same-day cancellation. And I still happily go back. This is a business, and by booking an appointment and not cancelling with considerate notice, no matter the circumstance, I am taking away other chances for potential business. Anyone who leaves angry reviews about this policy obviously does not know the awful pain of actually being held accountable, much less appreciate what it takes to survive an independently-owned business in this post-pandemic economy.
I am a cancer survivor and following chemotherapy Katie cut several wigs for me. All were the same wig to be cut in the same style. The last wig she cut for me was way too short and there was a two inch piece hanging down. When she was done she admitted it was short. I went home and couldn’t do anything with it. I was very upset since the wigs are over $250 each. I left her a message to call me and she did not. I called again and her receptionist told me Katie informed her I should go somewhere else where they specialize in wigs. She also told me they would refund the cut in which she did not. I had to call the credit card company to remove the charge. I was very hurt by Katie’s response. I thought she was a decent enough person to speak with me. It is very hard losing your hair and cutting a wig is no different than cutting a head of hair. You feel you are close to your stylist and they have compassion for another person. I have never been treated this way. To you Katie maybe you should grow a heart it’s not all dollars. Your treatment of me hurt. I hope this helps you. Anyone reading your mean spirited response to my review should take notice. You are clueless as to what a wig cost Jon Renau Miranda Lite. I think it is sad that you try to defend yourself and make excuses instead of apologizing and treating someone with respect and dignity. It is unfortunate you cannot tell the truth. If Katie can write a response like this to a cancer survivor she will go to any length to hurt someone. I feel sorry for you Katie.Service: Haircut
I had my appointment cut down because of a mix up was with the valet at the hotel so the only thing she did even with half hour left was curls. I wish there was just a little bit more time to have something as simple as half up half down, but regardless they looked beautiful and it wasn't their fault. They were kind enough to accommodate me even with being more than half an hour late.
McKenna did an exceptional job and the salon has such a relaxing atmosphere. Very fun and professional. I will definitely be returning!Services: Manicure
Have been going to Tres Chic for almost three years now and really enjoy the experience each and every time. Katie, Chloe, Dani, McKenna and Karrington are all top-notch. The space is clean, intimate, and has a great feel. So happy it's downtown!Service: Haircut
Called, as a new customer, too make an appointment. I was told they can have me at 2:30. I come 5 min before the appointment and they say someone else took that slot and my appointment was only tentative. Sorry for the misunderstanding on the phone. But it wasn’t a misunderstanding, it’s just poor customer relations. They could’ve called to reschedule at the very least. Not encouraged to come again as I like to respect my time.
As a male client, I was extremely pleased with my haircut as well as the lovely humor provided from McKenna! Highly recommended!Service: Haircut
