One of the few old school classic dirt tracks left in the nation. Parking is open and easy to get in and out of. The midway offered plenty of choices of food and drinks. The main stands are covered and provided shade but if you sit towards turn 1 you will be looking at the sun as it sits over turn 3. You can tell it’s an old track but don’t let that fool you! The Action Track lives up to its name!

Overall an average experience. The venue has plenty of parking and is easily accessible. However it is need of an update. There was only one food stand with two people serving, attempting to accomodate a full venue. The line was no less than 15-20 min all night. The viewing is average from the grandstand and the dust further impedes the view of sections of the track. Dust can be accepted, it is a dirt track. However dust that is that thick it limits your view of half of the track cannot.

Now they have a promoter with racing in his blood. I met him back in the '80s. The man lives and breaths it! I hope people in our community support him and.... 'cmon down and see some good racing when you can. Good luck Mr. Rose.

First time I was there. An amazing experience at a historical track. Was there for USAC sprintweek,I stood in the infield at turn one for hotlaps. Haven't been that excited in a long time! Worth the 700 mile drive from Pennsylvania! Look forward to going back!

Drove up from Evansville for the july 12 2020 World of Outlaws sprint car series race and it was a good time with some great racing.

Great venue to enjoy the engine noise, smell of fuel, and intense competition between all levels of competitors. And, changes in Indy venues are providing Terre Haute Action Track more racing action, because of those changes. We all need to go and support our local track.

One of best 1/2 mile ovals in the United States. A sprint car fans must !

The Terre Haute Action Track is a great place for family’s and friends. I have been going gear for years to watch racing and other events. Make sure to check and see what can and cannot be taken in with you if your bringing outside goods or items in. I would recommend this place to family and friends. The back entrance is best for a quick exit.

This experience was great.. my kids loved the whole event. Just a shame parents dont set their children and kids climbing everywhere.. but other then that the show was great. Cant wait till July 9th.

Went to the race last night we grabbed a seat on turn four the racing was good and the drivers put on a good show . But who ever is in charge of the track stop wasting time to much dead time and upgrade the speakers we couldn’t hear anything that was said . Hope they do some upgrading in the future .
