We had a fantastic experience at Track Shack! My husband and I were both in need of new shoes for walking/jogging. We wanted to get properly fitted as we are both getting back into running. Supporting a local business was an added bonus. I looked at reviews and decided on the Track Shack. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and after sharing that we needed some shoes, the magic began. The employee that helped us can’t remember her name asked us questions, measured our feet, had us walk, and dropped major shoe knowledge. She made some great suggestions and brought out 2 pairs each for us to try on. I tried a pair of Brooks and a pair of Hokas. My husband tried a pair of Brooks and a pair of ASICS. After trying both pairs, I decided on the Hokas and my husband went with the Brooks. The store is clean with a large selection of running gear. Checkout was quick and efficient. We’ll be heading to the Track Shack whenever we need new shoes!
I drove an hour to shop at this highly recommended shop for running shoes. I had been told that The Track Shack would fit me for shoes and not just sell me what I thought I needed. This turned out to be true! I was greeted by Kerri as soon as I walked into the shop. Kerri listened to the issues I had been having with my lower legs and feet. She quickly asserted that my current shoes were too small. She watched me walk in my current shoes and then sized both of my feet. I was completely surprised to learn that my current shoes were a full size too small and this was the biggest problem with my legs and feet. Kerri brought out two pairs of shoes for me to try based on the activities I use athletic shoes for. I never felt pressured, only cared for and listened to. I am so glad I took the time to travel to Orlando. It has only been 24 hours with my new shoes and I am already feeling relief from the pain that has been nagging me. I was even able to donate my too small shoes for their give back program. This made me happy because I had spent about $140 for them at another shoe store that didn't take the time to listen or size me properly.
I live an hour away from Track Shack and buy all of my running gear from them. Well worth trip. Friendly professional service. The people that work there are runners so when you are getting shoes, they understand your questions and concerns, unlike the big box stores.
I have my first marathon coming up so it was imperative I get some new shoes! I had an associate by the name of Matt help me with my first proper shoe fitting. He was very knowledgeable, and brought out plenty of different options for me to try while explaining the difference between brands/styles. I ended up going with a pair of Brooks Ghost 14 and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Thanks for all your staff does to keep our running community safe and healthy!
Came here with my wife who needed new running shoes and had been here before. I was surprised at the level of customer service, it reminded me of the shoe store back home on Long Island that my mom would take us to as kids. I will definitely consider Track Shack for my next pair of sneakers.
Track Shack is Orlando's original running store owned and staffed by runners with the professionalism and knowledge to get you fitted RIGHT! I've been running over 50 years and still find their professional fitters suggest shoes I love. Don't waste your time go to the original. Need motivation and training groups, they have that too. If you like buying from companies that give back, Track Shack gives thousands to local school's teachers, elementary running clubs, track, and cross country teams.
I had such an amazing experience here. I signed up for a one month program online and little did I know, running would be one of the main things in this program. Well I developed severe shin splints. I came into this store to get some good running shoes. Krista put me in some Brooks and since then, I've been shaving time off my runs and no longer experiencing pain. Grateful for the experience. Thank you guys!!!
We used to live in Orlando and moved several years ago across the state. We still will only buy our shoes from Track Shack, and make the drive happily. Always such a great experience.
My husband and I were in yesterday to get fitted for running shoes. We got lucky enough to have Jared help us. Apparently we are a New Balance family lol will prop go mow the lawn after this post lol Jared was so helpful, informative, friendly, and just made our experience one of the best I’ve ever had with a gait analysis. He deserves a raise! Thank you Jared for an awesome experience!
I don’t run but I do a lot of walking for exercise and I wouldn’t buy my shoes anyplace but Track Shack. I was directed there many years ago by the orthopedist who diagnosed plantars. The very knowledgeable and super customer oriented staff keep me coming back.
