Rachael was very helpful answering our questions about buying egg laying chickens and getting us set up with everything we need to take them home to Chromo. Excellent selection of all farm related products and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
I went in to tractor supply on December 27, 2021 I got an employee her name was Lily day love I need help getting some horse supplies to put weight on my horse before she got turned out to pasture her name is light Lily helped me with everything that I needed and then more she even wrote out for me day one to start feeding her to put weight on her she found the right product the sweet feed and the supplement she went beyond and helped me write out day one through day five on how much I should be feeding her I’d give Lily an A+ thank you Lily for helping me get everything I needed light enjoyed her first bucket thank you tractor supply also for having Lily on your staff.
Tom was so kind & extremely helpful with everything, greeting, carrying my supplies. Cashier was kind, very pleasant shopping & gave my dog a treat. Thank you guys for your hard work & pleasant attitudes.
In this covid time, it would be nice if the cashier would be kind enough to protect her customers and put her mask over her nose. UPDATE: Was in TSC a couple of days ago, and the cashier, Edgar had his face mask on his chin. There little or no coverage of his mouth or nose. Here is a picture for proof.
I love tractor supply. ALL the employees are terrific. They are so helpful and nice. Nice items on the store. I never spend less than an hour looking around and talking to the employees and spending way too much money because I go in for something specific and come out with it and a cart full of other things that I couldn't resist!
Zero work clothes for women. The clothes they do have say 1 of 2 things about you: 1. "I can't get cousin Earl to marry me," 2. "The tomatoes in the garden this year are too spicy." Not sure why I expected anything anyway, but I drove over an hour to buy some jeans and all they had was elastic waisted or polyester 2 pairs
This tractor supply has the worst service... Items that we were trying to purchase were in stock and visibly accessible but all staff said we could not purchase because they could not load the items... items that should have already been stocked in the store weeks prior... the shelves are always empty and the staff is always extremely unhelpful. I have backed off from shopping at this store for almost a year because of prior experiences like today. Thought I’d give it another shot but, same old same old... terrible service and experience as always
My husband wanted a toolbox for his pickup & he found one at tsc. We went to pick it up & he & one employee put it on a big cart, it was awkward but pushed it to the register. My husband & the 1st employee went out to the truck & I had to try & wiggle this long awkward cart into the middle checkstand. There were 2 young employees talking to 1 customer, I said, in a raised voice, that I could use some help. One of the young men, the one with a beard, leaned across the counter & looked at me, straightened up & kept talking. I finally got the cart to the register & I'm sure that smoke was rising off of the top of my head! I had knocked off magazines & a female customer had to help me. I asked why one of them couldn't have helped me? "We were talking to a customer!" "This guy is in training!" "You are putting us down!" "Have a blessed day". Every excuse you can think of in addition to every stupid religious remark, right up there with, Bless your heart. Anyway, this store is exactly what we all think it is, the Walmart of feed stores.
Tractor Supply has been one of the best and most useful stores for the small farm that we run. We irrigate seven acres and raise hay to feed our cows. When we need gear, we always try to buy at TS. I am having trouble with the drain plug on my irrigation pump. I spent fifteen minutes with the cashier, Michaela, trying to figure out what I needed, and she even opened a package with her knife so we could test a pipe tap. She was so helpful, and it was fun working with her. Carl, the manager came to assist and offer his ideas which were helpful. I went to the welding section three different times bringing back tools, and with Carl's help, I finally got what I thought that I needed. There is more to tapping and installing pipes than I had imagined. I got home and realized that I would need a 1/2" pipe tap as opposed to the 3/4" pipe tap that I'd bought. I called Carl who very nicely told me to bring back what I had purchased for a refund. When he looked up the 1/2" tap that I needed and found that TS didn't have the option of ordering it, he went the extra mile and gave me the names of two sources where I could order the 1/2" pipe tap. Now who does that? Tractor Supply, just by the nature of what they sell, is invaluable to us, but the people who work there are beyond that, a dream to say the least. The very best!
Worst tractor supply I’ve ever shopped at. Been coming here for two years and constantly have to wait in a long checkout line because only one register is open. Most products don’t have price tags or are improperly labeled. If you are unable to find what you need on your own it’s definitely not worth asking an employee because all you will get is an unwanted conversation and no help. Update 2 years later and the situation at the pagosa tractor supply is even worse, our household has avoided this store because of the many bad experiences we’ve had here in the last 5 years. Had to go today for wood shavings for our animals. We usually purchase these elsewhere but tractor supply was our only option today. They had like 10-12 pallets of the wood shavings we needed on hand but refused to sell them to us. The cashier and manager both were bottomless pits of excuses on why we couldn’t buy an item that they had on hand. “Oh forklift doesn’t work on snow” “oh actually the driver isn’t here” “we have to have a guy operating it” I point to male cashier behind me-> turns out he’s full of excuses as well. “ can’t walk outside with this broken arm I have” “can’t drive a forklift with this broken arm” so how did you drive yourself to work and get from the car to store? When I inform the manager lady that there are easily accessible bales of the shavings outside because their stack on the end is fallen over and I could easily grab the items I need she says she can’t let me do that. The absolute absurdity of how quickly this manager pours out meaningless excuses and how her “team” follows suit to be as unhelpful as humanly possible blows my mind. I’ve read the other positive reviews for this place and it’s pretty obvious that they are false reviews put on to make themselves look less incompetent. I truly hope that more people who have bad experiences here speak up as well and maybe we can have a functioning TSC in Pagosa with helpful staff.
