Saw this place on google maps while researching another project. The name got me so on a recent motorcycle ride I wandered down. The ride was top notch getting there. Went inside hoping to get a souvenir but they don't have those types of things, but they are working on it. Talked with the owner while I was there, she was baking turnovers and had some other homemade goodies available. The place is well taken care of and doesn't look as old as it is. There was coffee available besides the baked goods. Will be back ehen I have more time. The sign inside the stote was found in the local landfill by previous owners with a piece missing, maybe for some small project requiring a piece of tin.
Absolutely wonderful experience. Staff are all so friendly and helpful. They have a good selection for the things you need. And a few extras. Got fresh produce and lots of snacks, took a hot shower and did some laundry. Perfect place to stock up after a day of hiking, biking, climbing, etc.
Seriously one of the coolest little town merks I’ve been to. They had EVERYTHING! The ice cream and treats for the kids hit the spot after a day exploring at the City Of Rocks. Only a few minute drive into town and well worth the stop. The owners were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met!
If you're stopping through to hit Durfee's or City of Rocks, Tracy General Store is a quaint little place to stop and get a bite to eat. They're also the only other area around Cassia to purchase Almo Creamery milk. The food and the milkshakes are wonderful, and they also sell both gasoline and diesel fuels here.
Great shop, even when the power is out! They had all the essentials we needed to restock while visiting City of Rocks. There’s great ice cream too!
Cool place that fits the needs of area ranchers. Post Office, restaurant, ice cream, convence store. Only Gad pump for many miles. Be prepared for some sticker shock. 6 pack of root beer was $14!
Stopped by on the recommendation of the City of Rocks ranger. The family makes the ice cream and even the brownies that go in the excellent chocolate raspberry brownie ice cream.
Stopped in after drive through City of Rocks. For ice cream, excellent!!! Chocolate cookie dough and friend had white chocolate raspberry swirl. She's from Vegas and a sweet tooth, best white chocolate ice cream She's had, ever.
Most charming family store in Idaho, beautiful stoe, friendly service, and good prices. Definitely stopping by next time I'm in town
