Unorganized and worst place. Docks on ur right side so u have to U- turn with tight place then park at docks R14 and R15 and then move to assigned dock. Too much hassle.
Deli receiving is good cheese receiving sucks. Easiest to count product. But apparently they don't have enough receiver's to be able to count.
So far so good, maybe it's my timing but everything is running smoothly. Got in and out in a good time. The docks are cramped, but not hard to do.
I personally loved my job as a loader , I usually always got two trucks loaded daily, on good day three and slow days one which always went fairly-well. I had one accident that hurt my entire right side and left me bruised on my thigh and got paid two days sick leave and didn’t want to go back because I was scared of getting hurt again though it took me forever to over come my fear I did and went back to work. I am no longer there on assignment because of head count meaning it’s not peak season and needed to reduce loaders. While here at Trader Joe’s I learn that communication is complicated if just communicate it verbally because it’s loud environment due to machinery . I learn how to load a truck safely and efficiently. While here I also tried to share my idea on how it could be quick loading salad, deli , cheese pallets if organized better when completed.I shared that sketch with Reception, Deploy Recuiters, and myself. I’m going to miss working here though I’m also happy because now I can focus on Strawberry Rose Pearls, the jewelry I designed for my daughter Briell.
Unloading time was okay but backing up is a challenge. I think whoever in charger of the warehouse is not smart. They need to change the entrance to exit and exit to entrance and I think all the truck driver will be really happy and save some time and stress. Overall it’s OK
This place completely has no common sense about how to organize the semi traffic. It's very narrow space to back up to the dock, so to make it harder they create the check in gate from the side of the warehouse which make you back up from the blind right side. Just whole traffic should enter the other side, check in go around the warehouse and approach the dock from the easier side. But someone seems like wants to make it harder and more dangerous for a truck drivers... But to be completely fair, the People who work here are nice and an unloading time is not bad.
Two stars because of the set up! Place is set up to were either you blind side not recommended or have to figure how you’ll turn around. Quick unloading. Unloading doors R2 R12 grab one and go check in R35 go back and Wait for green light and go back to R35 to get your paperwork. Appt 1600 checked in 1455 out 1615
STRICK APPT TIMES Dock first then paperwork to office Quick unloading OPEN 24/7 No overnight parking A Clean and well maintained Restroom in office Pumpkins only after 3 am, docked between 35-45, They had 2 yard guys directing traffic in yard, no trailers parked opposite of 35-45 doors so trucks can make a u turn and park easily, Parked in less than 45 seconds…. Security doesn’t know what doors you should be docked at Traders joes doesn’t answer the phone, and there isn’t to much parking, you could probably run in really quick to OFFICE BETWEEN DOORS 34 & 35 and ask Notice docking is tougher on the opposite side of the building, there is barely any room and they made employee parking in front of the docking area
This place is the worst distribution center I have ever been to. Trying to get into the facility is ridiculous with the aggressive driving by drivers. Accident just waiting to happen.
Tight yard. Sometimes hard buck up. 5 star for super fast unloading. Always quick
