It's been about 2 decades since I've been here, and to put it mildly, not much has changed. However, I'm glad it survived the pandemic. Because, what it offered was pure nostalgia and a fun outdoor, bartering, shopping experience. It was nice being able to support local businesses and families. You know exactly who your money is going to for the most part. The atmosphere was lively which was nice. The shop owners aren't pushy about getting people in their storage area, so you're able to comfortably walk around and peek into a storage area without feeling obligated to step in further. The rides were a newer addition and definitely a nice touch. My son had a blast, and even being younger he was able to get on quite a few rides on his own. I would definitely visit again. Be aware though, parking is horrendous. And it is easier to enter than it is to leave.
I hadn't been to Traders Village in at least 7 to 8 years and it hasn't changed. It's the largest outdoor flea market in the Dallas area. You will find everything that you're looking for here: Shoes, hats, rims, tires, kites, candy toys, bikes, makeup, clothes, and that's just to name a few items. They also have several food vendors on site. The kiddos can also enjoy the rides on the mini Midway. It gets pretty busy and the lines may be a little bit long, but you'll have a good time.
Place has changed and for the better. New rides, New beer stands New food options. Make sure to shop around for the best prices. The vendors right at the entrance have crazy high prices where as when you walk down an isle, you get far more and far better deals. Make sure to haggle for the best price and have fun. It's a great place to spend the day.
Great place for a walk and buying cheap goods. Entrance and parking fee is $5. Has a lot of different food, drink stands. Everything you need you can find find from jewelry, clothing, construction tools, toys, kitchenware, furniture, shoes, bicycles, car parts, phones items to pet adoption centers, birds, snakes and amusement park rides. Overall a good experience.
Traders Village has recently added several amusement rides, and they’ve done an impressive job at refurbishing and installing them. The Prairie Screamer roller coaster used to operate at the defunct Scandia family park in Ontario CA, and Traders Village has purchased and completely refurbished it, and it’s nothing short of wonderful. As for the flea market itself, there are countless booths and stalls with just about anything you could name for sale. There are lots of collectibles, auto parts, phone accessories, toys, rugs, clothing, you name it. Parking is $5 and admission is free. All day ride wristbands are $15 or individual ride tickets may also be purchased, prices vary per ride.
What a cool place. Good food, roller coasters n other rides, and you can buy ANYTHING!!! I mean ANY-THING!
This place is huge and has a lot to offer. However, the stalls quickly become very redundant and you begin to see the same items over and over. There are a ton of food options and even a carnival area with lots of rides. For $13.99 you can ride unlimited rides.
First time to this market. We had so much fun. The kids loved the rides just $15 for all you can ride. Food and drinks were delicious. Clamato with a 34oz Modelo, come on man!!! Stay away from the puppy section if you don't want to have your heart broken lol. We stayed for 4 hours and left with smiling faces and sunburn.
Lots of repetitive items. But there is no shortage of booths. This place is huge and better have good walking shoes in. I have to say the live band was doing a great cover of AC DC . lots of variety. My only concern is warranty or recourse on so e of the tools. Mowers tags that you would but here
Traders Village is full of fun, and essential items, good food, and interesting attractions for the whole family. Bathroom entrance has a refreshing water spritz when you need to cool down from the heat, and there are plenty of places to sit when you need a break from your shopping. Worth the $5 parking fee if you’re planning to stay a while. Only drawback: the petting zoo. The animals looked pretty miserable. I hope they’re treated humanely. Great local find!
