This small RV park is located directly behind the Best Western, with check in done in the hotel lobby. There are back in and pull through sites on gravel pads all with full hook ups and are slightly larger than normal. Excellent Wifi. The bathhouse/laundry is modern and clean. This is a great location for people transiting to and from Canada and Glacier NP.
I don't think they care anymore. Weeds are taking over. Sites are not level do to lack of grading. Maybe they don't have a groundskeeper anymore. And the wind and road noise. Only thing that was good was the price. $20. Well and the electricity was good. They charge $8 for breakfast.
A great place to over night. It's behind the Best Western Hotel. Close to the interstate and a rail yard. Great price with PA.
Horror-Show arrival as the dirt road access is filled with potholes and the staff inside the motel was fairly clueless on their procedures... Lots of adorable Prairie Dogs on the hillside along the back
Decent RV park. Part of the Best Western and the hotel amenities are available to campers. Washrooms and laundry are nice. Full service lots that are pretty level. Windy but that is just the way it is in Shelby!
Great RV park our site was pull through and had full hookups. Super clean bathroom/showers, laundry facility. It is right behind the Best Western and they gave us access to the fitness room and $6 buffet breakfast. Convenient access to I-15 but it isn't a heavily travel road near here so, we didn't hear a lot of road noise. Also a train depot is near by, but no road crossing so we didn't hear train horns, just some low rumbling as an occasional train went through.
It was great because the other campground was full. The spots are pretty level. You can use the pool in the hotel and get breakfast for $6. But it needs new signage as the signs to guide you in are not on the paved road but on the rough pot hole dirt road. And the corners for turning are tight if you have a long load to pull in. When you pull in there is no sign or notice to tell you that you have to check into the front desk at the hotel.
Good place to unhitch and head to Glacier Park. Clean bathrooms and showers. Only minor complaints is that it is very noisy at night between the junction of two major highways and multiple train tracks you will need industrial ear plugs all night. Sewer connections uphill making draining tanks difficult during our stay. Laundry has only 2 of each machine for 20 sites, good luck getting a free machine, they need to add more. Overall, good place, but can improve.
Great campground, located behind the hotel. Clean restrooms an laundry facilities Strong wifi Accept passport America. This in our usual stop on our way back North before crossing back into Canada. We will definitely stay her again.
Registration is at the hotel lobby. Friendly staff very helpful. Nice pull thru sites. Green grass, sites clean No trash or dog poo. Good strong wifi. It has been dry so no ruts but can see where there have been in the past. We came in with Passport America. Check the hotel buffet breakfast. $6.00 each. Looks like most sites are full hookups. Some maybe tent sites. This a railroad town but the small amount of noise from trains or traffic didn't bother us. If your coming through town, it's worth a look.
