This is the best dog park in the area. The dog owners are responsible and there are rarely dog fights unlike the dog park on 104th and Irma. This is our go-to dog park.
Nice pool, great staff, and an overall enjoyable experience. Hopefully we can try out the play place when it's back open.
To start off with, if 0 stars was an option that what this review would be getting. Not only where the soccer fields in bad condition, they didn’t provide big enough fields for high school level players. Second, the reffing was the worst I have even seen in my life, fouls weren’t being called and neither were offsides. And to add, the lack of reffing skills and common sense put our players in danger to the point that parents had to interfere on the field because a player couldn’t breathe when the referee was fully aware and not calling the play off. Absolutely terrible.
Beautiful big park with different amenities, tennis, etc. Playground: It's really nice and a good size Restrooms: They are clean Dog-friendliness: The dog park is huge with a small and large section, it is also sand and rock with a nice shaded area from the hot sun, but also nice because it doesn't get muddy after rains/hail storms. Picnic area: Has places around to sit and eat.
The new dog park is big. That is about the only thing positive I can say about it. Little shade, and poor placement of the water fountains. Only one trash can, and the gravel is to fine. Would have preferred pea gravel instead of the nasty beach sand they chose.
The facilities are kept very clean! They have two sides spectated by little dogs and small dogs though there are a few small dogs tough enough to be on the big dog side lol. The city provides doggie bags and a trash can to dispose of them for your convenience. Very happy to take my puppies here because they get super excited to make new friends every time!
Very nice park, turf is next to new! Nicw clean restrooms!
My dog loves this park! You do have to be careful if your dog walks around the edges, however, because there are sometimes stickers. It's a great place with dogs that are typically very friendly and people who generally do a good job of paying attention to what's going on.
Soccer field were in very bad shape. My daughter sprained her ankle due to uneven ground. Play with caution!
So sad to write this because for the past month I’ve been coming every single day to this park with no issues. Today, my puppy was bit by another dog and cost us $1,000 in emergency vet bills. Unfortunately there were two dogs around and we weren’t sure which one actually bit. The park said to call 911 and 911 sent animal control who said when you enter a dog park YOU ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.
