I decided for a weekend away and wanted a spa day for myself. Found a spa package online for myself from Tranquility that was in my budget and included what I wanted massage, facial, mani/pedi for $200. I decided to throw in a blow dry/flat iron as well since I was going out to a casino in AC. I was a little hesitant because this was New Jersey and I was used to going into Philly where there was a...let's say, diverse crowd and staff. I got to Tranquility and in the front is the salon and I definitely felt like I stood out a little bit at first. But then they called me for my appointment and they took me into the back where they have all of their spa rooms. It was like a whole different world back there quiet and serene. I first got my facial done with Justine - who was like a walking menu. She asked me a ton of questions about my skin and sensitivity, making me feel comfortable and really showed that she knew what she was doing. The head, shoulder, arm, and hand massages that came with the facial made it so much more than just your typical facial, I was so relaxed from the very beginning. She also used some kind of facial cream that smelled SO good, like guava or mint mixed with mango. I have no clue but I LOVED it. Afterwards, they set up my lunch in a private room which was secluded and set up beautifully lunch was included in the package, I chose a chicken Cesar out of three options. They are BYOB so I got to enjoy my wine with lunch! From there, Nicole gave me my pedicure and manicure-again, with the ultimate pampering treatment. Although conversation fell a little flat, she still did a great job and made me feel so relaxed. From there, I went to chill and dry my nails in their "quiet room" where I enjoyed more of my wine and read through some magazines, enjoying the small piece of heaven in the crazy world. Kaley came and got me for my massage and just like Justine, asked me A TON of questions to make sure I was comfortable and that they knew what I was looking for. The massage - oh the massage! I tried hard not to fall asleep because I was so relaxed. The calming music was on point, dim lights, aromatherapy, gentle but invigorating massage. From there, I met up with Adrienne who is an energetic and sweet stylist to blow dry and flat iron my hair. I wasn't sure how she would do, in all honesty, because I've had even "experienced" stylists try to flat iron my hair while it was still wet. She assured me she had plenty of experience and I saw she had curly hair as well so I let her work her magic. And boy did she work it. In ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES this chick not only dried my hair and flat ironed it, she even threw in a trim to help me look more even. I lived in West Philadelphia and not even stylists I saw there could straighten my hair like she did today. I felt like a million dollars, a top client, a rockstar, everything that I was looking for in my weekend away to pamper myself. Adrienne was the perfect way to end my special day and we got along great. Because of my entire experience today, I scheduled another appointment for before my birthday to pamper myself again and get my hair done by Adrienne. . Every single staff member was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. From checking in to the different services I received, if you ever want to get a celebrity treatment, come here. I unfortunately cannot say I will ever try going anywhere else for relaxation or hair treatment because Tranquility set the bar so freakin' high. Forever customer.
Been going there for years..Best service ever.. I she Tiffany she does my color and Blows out my hair. Best ever and ever.... She is truly the best. Lara cuts my hair and she is the best. Anastasia does my eyebrows.. She is the sweetest and does such a great job, my eyebrows never looked better... Krista use to wash my hair but she is no longer there..Big mistake she was the best hair washer ever. Always took time to say Hi and did the best head massage ever. Always looked forward to seeing her. She was the sweetest. Her replacements need to take a page out of her book. The mangers at that salon are lucky to have all those girls there. They are the nicest girls ever. I am a business owner and I know how important it is to have good staff it surely shows at this salon..PS besides getting rid of Krista best salon ever.
My experience at Tranquility has been nothing short of excellent every single time. My facials with Justine are wonderful, relaxing, professional, and rejuvenating. I always leave with my skin feeling great and refreshed. I recently had a massage with Alyssa and it was the best massage I’ve ever had. It was relaxing from start to finish and she made me feel very comfortable. The staff that I’ve encountered have been super friendly and helpful. Definitely somewhere I will continue to go regularly. It’s nice to treat yourself and have a great experience thanks to the amazing girls at Tranquility. Thank you!!
I see Christine for pedicures and Brisa Gels. Prior to coming to Tranquility in Voorhees, I had been to several other places that did not live up to my expectations for quality hard gels. I have been to Christine several times now for fills and pedicures. She does a great job on both. I never have any problems between appointments and my nails look awesome. She is also very friendly and easy to talk to which is nice.
