A Journal of the University of Iowa College of Law
TLCP constitutes a substantial departure from the traditional law journal format. Issues of TLCP focus on contemporary problems of transnational significance in a symposium format. Recognizing that global problems are complex and multi-dimensional, TLCP takes a
multidisciplinary approach by exploring not only the legal, but also the economic, social, political, and cultural aspects of current developments in public, private, and comparative international law.
TLCP is unique in its approach and content in that it provides to the international and comparative law community matters of interest and innovation not commonly found in other journals and reviews. Issues have included such innovations as: symposia featuring articles by distinguished legal scholars and practitioners; living history interviews with people of international accomplishment; and foreign legislative developments, treaties, conventions, and other international agreements.
