Travel Country Outfitters has been Orlando's destination for outdoor gear since 1971. We have the gear to make your next adventure outside the best ever.

TravelCountry is dedicated to expanding access to wilderness areas while preserving natural resources. We dedicate our time, products and money to many local outdoor groups and organizations. Our goal is to ensure the viability of water and wilderness areas for generations to come.

So grateful for Travel country outfitters- especially Brett who has helped us the most and provided excellent service everytime. We have purchased a kayak from here, roof racks, a bike rack, a helmet, and they recently went above and beyond to help me with a pickle I was in. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. High quality products. Please check this place out for your outdoor needs - I can't imagine going anywhere else.
The staff here are always fantastic. Especially Brett who has come through for us on more than one occasion. From educating us and helping us to find the perfect kayak to helping us mount our roof racks. 10/10 would recommend this store to anyone searching for knowledgeable employees and looking for quality equipment.
I recently bought a new kayak there. As a novice I had done a lot of research on Hobie kayaks but no actual hands on. These great people scheduled a demo on a near by lake and when it was time to purchase, they were courteous and very professional. The manager even cleaned my new kayak because it was “dusty” from the box and then loaded it on my truck and showed me how to tie it down. I’m a kayak maniac now!
They have an excellent selection of outdoor gear but unfortunately they charge way too much. I went there to buy a pack and paid $117 only to get home to find out it’ sells on Amazon for $85. That is definitely price gouging. my suggestion is to find the gear you like then go outside and order it on Amazon after finding what you like at Travel Country
This is a fantastic sports store that should not be missed! If you are looking for an outdoor place to get all your needs for backpacking, kayaking, shoes, clothing and lots more, don't miss stopping here. The employee's are very knowledgeable and are willing to help you find whatever it is that your looking for. They even have an outlet store which has lots of clothes and other items. I highly recommend taking the time to stop and check out TCO.
Amazing, customer service was perfect. I needed equipment for a solo hike and a few Via Ferratas in Switzerland and decided I would stop at Travel Country first. I was finding almost everything I needed, but I still wanted to check out other places before I purchased everything. They were very kind and held my items until I returned. My next stop was REI. What a mistake that was. The floor personnel lacked education about equipment. When I asked for Via Ferratas gloves, I was asked "whats that?" Long story short, I walked out and went back to Travel country Outfitters and purchased all my items. They have gained a lifelong customer, and I look forward to doing business with people who know their equipment.
Had a great experience today. Connor helped us pick out a paddle board. He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. The whole team there was attentive.
Very happy with my online order from this company. The boots are wonderful and arrived quickly. Good prices and selection as well.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! I came in looking for climbing shoes after checking 2 REIs that had little to no stock. Travel Country had every model in every half size to try on which was so beneficial! The staff took a bunch of time with me to help me choose the right shoe and offered fit advice. They also have a few climbing holds to test the shoes out on.
Picked up a pair of "Fivefingers" today. This is the only store in Central Florida to have a good selection in stock. I had a great experience with Brett who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you!
