Norvell® is a custom-built sunless tanning solution made from all natural ingredients. This high quality spray solution produces a beautiful bronze tan in 5 minutes. It dries quickly, permitting a streak free, normal looking “just off of the beach” tan.
Does the perfect solution smell?
Norvell® uses the newest technology in odor inhibitors to encapsulate the odor causing agents commonly associated with DHA products. Norvell® solution carries a raspberry almond scent, that is much more appealing than other spray tan solutions that leave a musty smell. Customers love the scent of raspberry and almond extract.
Could it be damaging to my skin or me?
The Norvell® self-tanning solution contains breakthrough micronutrient technology that delivers a potent mix of vitamins and antioxidants. This natural product contains moisturizing Aloe Vera in Purified De-Mineralized Water, Hawaiian Sea Extract, Sea Kelp and Ascorbic acid. Every one of these ingredients nourishes your skin and extends the life of your tan. All Norvell® spray tanning options are Paraben free.
Is my skin too light or dark for that solution?
The natural formula works with your skin tone making a customized shade of color each and every time. There is no skin shade that won’t work. Every one of the Norvell® spray tanning solutions produces a natural bronze color, providing you with a natural ‘sun-kissed’ tan.
What type of bronzers are used in Norvell® Sunless Tanning Solution?
There are 3 different types of bronzers. First, there is the instantly visible cosmetic bronzer. This is the bronzer that gives you that “just off the beach” look but will wash away. You can also opt to not have the bronzer. If you decide to use the bronzer it’s best to not shower at least 8 hours after your spray tan session. Our 2nd bronzer is the clear bronzer, which is DHA. This bronzer does not have an immediate visible effect but begins to react with the skin in 2-4 hours and replaces the cosmetic bronzer. The third and final bronzer is Eyrthulose. This is a slow reacting bronzer that is very similar to DHA but enhances the tan’s color and extends the life of your spray tan.
Can I apply the Norvell® spray tan solution myself?
Norvell® products are designed for professional use or with the Norvell® Revolutionary Spray Tan Booths, which all our salons have.
What should I expect?
The DHA, an active ingredient inside the solution that is produced from glycerin, interacts while using amino acids inside your skin cells, producing a color change. The DHA bronzer will quickly activate within 2-4 hours after application, making a beautiful bronze tan. Full DHA results develop within 18-24 hours and should last approximately 5-7 days.
What is DHA?
DHA is an acronym for Dihydroxyacetone. DHA is an ingredient derived from sugar cane and beets, which reacts with amino acids in your skin to create the darkening reaction or tan.
Will the solution stain my hair or clothes?
The Norvell® solution may temporarily stain really light hair; so wearing a cap is usually recommended. It can possibly stain wool, spandex, lycra, silks and other fine fabrics, but the option would be easily removed with regular machine wash. Wearing dark, loose clothing in your tanning session is recommended.
Does it contain sunscreen?
Norvell® will not contain sunscreen. It is solely for cosmetic purposes and yes it recommended that users use a high SPF sunscreen as soon as the solution has fully developed
