Travelodge Orangeburg

It was good for what it was. We were in and out for one night and got a Good Night's sleep. If I went over the room with a white glove. I'm sure I would have found things. But as far as the batting and stuff itself, it was clean.. My wife and I needed a cheap place to stay on our way to Florida. And this hotel did what we needed It to do.

Simple.. Clean.. Quiet... Great place if you want these things. I have stayed there many times and I have never been disappointed.Rooms: 5/5

Was very surprised at the quality of the room considering price. Wonderful bed! Clean room and property. Young man that checked us in done a great job representing the business. Will highly recommend that all our crews use this Travelodge whenever in the area! If I wanted to pick At anything it would be the breakfast. We are used to a lot more options but other than that near perfect! Rooms: Great bed! Very clean! All amenities listed were there!

I know the negative reviews hardly make an impact when it's a budget hotel that will always have business. I can imagine many vulnerable people use budget hotels like this one, and the way the manager/owner older male treats people is really heartbreaking. He was so rude to me for no reason, and the expression on his wife's face really makes me believe he treats everyone this way. Perhaps he should learn human decency instead of yelling over people and being so angry.

Visited March 4, 2023. This place was advertised to me as a hotel and is in fact a motel. As a result, this was not the expected experience. One of the two double beds had a blood stain the size of a dollar coin. As we arrived late and were exhausted we opted to cover the bed and sleep on-top of bedding. The shower head did not work properly. The bathroom configuration was odd and made it difficult for privacy. The breakfast that we try to get with all our hotel stops was miserable. Cold cereal and coffee...that was it. We had to feed our kids across the street by incurring an additional expense. Lastly, checkout was at 10am which is unusual for us and not standard. Ironically we were ready to go early. I strongly do not recommend this place. We were well served by other true hotels for equal rates.

Room was clean and enjoyable. Parking right out front. Relatively quiet and many options nearby. Only thing lacking is the breakfast.Rooms: 5/5

This room was so much nicer than anticipated. Beautiful flooring, so clean. Extremely kind staff! You couldn't ask for a better location with quick food on every corner and right off the main roads and highways. I just wish they had French Vanilla and 24 hour coffee. Rooms: Unbelievably clean. No carpeting! Food & drinks: Vending machine with affordable drinks. Lot's of place to eat on every corner. Noteworthy details: Just a great room for an affordable price neat everything I would need.

I was shocked to find a room this clean and comfortable at this rate. Included microwave, fridge, hair dryer, etc. Reminds me of the great little mom-and-pop motels my family stayed in when I was a kid.Rooms: 5/5
