Great place. Featuring authentic local memorabilia and pieces;. with a focus on Madison County and the surrounding areas. The building itself is historically significant. Standing in front of it, one can easily imagine riding your horse up to the front walkway, securing it to a hitching post, while dusting yourself off, before going in... A truly historic location, on a historic main-street, in a quaint southern town.
Very small museum of local history with rotating displays. Exceptionally friendly staff. Very warm and welcoming. Good bit of militaria, garb mostly. Outfits and such. Nice free public resource with interesting local tid bits. Some pioneer history. Fun.
Very interesting little museum with great historical content pertaining to the area.
Very good collection for such a small town. Well done
Stepping back in time and seeing the actual item, as opposed to a photograph.
