Very crowded store with a great selection of plants! Although, when I went to pay I tried to buy a lottery ticket but was refused service for being underage? I provided government ID and they said they still can't sell me one as they said I was underage. What more do you want? I'm about to turn 20 and have multiple ID's to prove my age. First time I've ever been refused service and honestly it was quite a shock. I get you don't want to sell to a minor...but I'm not a minor and haven't been for a long time now.
Excellent selection of standard dollar store stuff, which I discovered after I finally got past the plants : huge selection of indoor plants plus some outdoor, plus necessary pots, soil mixes, fertilizers, bug killers, and other botanical accoutrements. The staff is knowledgeable about the plants and extremely friendly—I always ask them for tips, even with plants I’m familiar with. Priced a bit above $6-12 for a 4-6”tropical plant, but immaculately cared for and worth a trip.
This place has pretty much anything that you’re looking for from plants, household items, school items, gardening items and so much more! I came here for the plants and was pleasantly surprised by its variety. There were so many plants to choose from and they were healthy too!! I’ve bought plants at Home Depot and Canadian Tire for maybe a little cheaper price but it wasn’t as healthy as the plants in this store. Giving it one less star because one of the staff was rude to me. I was on the phone and stood in one place as I was finishing my conversation. She looked annoyed and asked why I was at the store and if I was done shopping. The cashier was also not wearing her face mask properly mask not covering her nose but there was a plastic barrier in between customer and cashier.
Great store with a variety of things. Almost like a higher end dollar store, good prices and a bit of everything. Specifically they have a large plant selection. Plants available all year round with seasonal ones when available. Such good plants selection, tons of succulents and cacti. Right now April they have many good garden plants, flowers and vegetables.
Huge variety of herbs and plants. I wanted to get some tomato plants for my garden this year, and wow I didn't expect them to have this big amount of variety to choose from. They were insanely cheap too ranging from $1.19 to $4.99 for them. They also have a huge variety of strawberries and mint. They were also extremely nice and helpful, from the lady sorting plants to the cashier. Thank you!
I was on the lookout for some pots for my rooted little babies that I propagated but couldnt find some online for a good price Etsy/Amazon was $20+! Sis im on a budget.. but this store has so many and theyre around $7-$10! I love the concrete ones. Parking is a bit iffy as I just parked in some rando house and then walked a block. Also, the aisles are pretty cramped with plants and its awks when theres other people there as there are signs on the ground you need to follow i was so scared of someone yelling at me for not following them by accident because i didnt see them. ANYWAYS! this place is really good, a great selection of plants. support this small business! the service is good too. I dont know if this is all the time but they only take cash and debit, no credit. Will be telling my friends and coming back! Thank you guys! such a cute community place, other customers were so cool .
Great Eastside dollar+ store. They have tons of items packed wall to wall and ceiling that other franchise places don't. Prices do seem to be higher than other dollar stores. They also have a large variety of plants, seeds, and gardening items. Paid street parking or walk a bit and park for free in the neighbourhood. #letsguide #covid
Yes, this placed is full of stuff. I always seem to find something there, even though I wasn’t looking for anything in particular. The plants are varied. Service is good.
Lots of plants, fancy interior and comfortable atmosphere was in there! Also, I saw they selling venus trap which I used to grow up when I was elememtary kid
Yesss Trendybucks come through! Been on the hunt for a cast iron plant recently. This place is super tight quarters, but they have such a good selection of plants. More than that, their pot selection in unreal. Nothing is outrageously priced and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Only thing to note before going is cash and debit only, as well as exchange only on pots. None of which is worth losing a star over.
