Trent Middle School is named after the District’s first fine arts director, Dr. Daryl Trent. Dr. Trent played an immeasurable role in building the band program at Frisco High School and the strong fine arts program throughout the District.
In the early years, it was not unknown for him to step in and teach music at all grade levels. He made sure all Frisco children were exposed to the joy and wonder of music.
In addition to his work at FISD, Dr. Trent has also been active in the community band and his church, keeping music alive throughout the community.
Our Student Mission Statement says "I define myself by my efforts, not by my results. When my effort is there, my results will come."
