Ms. Denise Treviño currently runs her office, Treviño Law, Inc. in Laguna Hills. As an accomplished attorney, Denise has practiced in several states including Utah and Arizona. Ms. Treviño passionately engages the legal field. She has successfully litigated cases in criminal law and family law, and currently emphasizes estate planning and family law.
As a concerned legal professional, it is important to Ms. Treviño that the legal field is viewed in society as a fair and reputable group of individuals. One of her main goals is to promote the integrity of the profession in the community. An alumnus of the University of Utah College of Law, she has served on numerous boards including four years on the board for the Trusts & Estates section of the Orange County Bar Association where she served for four years as Co-Program Chair, Chair-Elect, Chair, and Past Chair. She is also the Past Chair of the Solo/Small
Firm section of the OCBA and has also served on that committee for four years. Currently she serves as an arbitrator and hears dispute between lawyers and their clients in respect to attorney fees.
She has participated in the Solo/Small Firm Annual Section CLE program for two years in a row. The first year the program was devoted to opening a law office. The second year the program was devoted to maintaining an office. Ms. Treviño participated as the moderator of the program where she helped develop the topics and move the program forward. In addition, Ms. Treviño spoke for JSA in regards to persuasion in the legal field. Finally, Ms. Treviño addressed law
students at Chapman University in respect to practice as an attorney after admission into the state bar.
In 2010, Ms. Treviño was nominated by her peers for the Entrepreneurial Award for the Orange County Business Journal.
Denise volunteers to aid community organizations such as Laura’s House, Mika Community Development Corporation, and has traveled to Mexico to help build homes for people in need. Ms. Treviño enjoys the opportunity to speak to teenage mothers about their rights. Ms. Treviño cherishes her opportunities to relax with her family, enjoys photography and keeping fit by dancing, running, and mountain biking.
