Triad Associates, PC. is an out-patient mental health clinic with its origin dating back to 1975. The clinic was founded by Ed Karman, M.D., Aaron Goldstein, Ph.D and David Stanislaw, LMSW. It was located in Birmingham, MI and was an approved Blue Cross Blue Shield out-patient psychiatric clinic. In addition to the owner, it employed therapists. It was during this time, that Triad Associates P.C. pursued a philosophy of providing quality services by experienced professionals in an environment of collegial sharing in an integrative psychotherapy milieu among the three disciplines of therapy: the TRIAD of Psychiatry, Psychology and Social Work was created.
In 1992, Triad Associates, PC opened a second office in Clarkston, Michigan serving the Clarkston, Holly, Goodrich, Grand Blanc, Ortonville, Auburn Hills, Waterford, Oxford, and the Rochester areas. Fred Baumann, MA, LLP, LMSW assumed the role of the clinical director and sole owner in 2009.
Triad has been a CARF accredited organization since 2004 for out-patient mental health treatment for adults and adolescents.
In 2016, Triad Associates, PC was re-branded as Triad Counseling Centers (as a DBA). The clinic remains committed to continuing the quality of care through the CARF Standards and serving the community.
