Easy check in. Decent size lots- backyard area. Tree coverage for shade/less direct sun. Not good for starlink :p Safe neighborhood. Quiet. Pet friendly. New dog run area is nice. Laundry on site. No bath house tho. Easy call to spectrum for internet/discount rates that are month/month no contract needed 30ish minutes from Raleigh on a good day weekends— during the weekdays expect 50+ min drive due to wrecks and construction.
So far we have no real complaints. A no frills but very affordable rv park which is the most important thing to us. We don't need swimming pools or amusement park at triple the price.
Beautiful spaces, nice trees, little laundry facility, very handy, wonderful neighbors, clean safe park. Very quiet here. More of an adult park as there isn't anything for little ones to do. Really like the park it's perfect for our 32foot travel trailer. Awesome manager, overall a gem we called home for a couple of months.
We love this park! 1 of our top 5!. The trees give it a private, peaceful feel, and the amenities work for our needs. There are also some walking trails very close by. We will definitely be back! Check out our full review on YouTube.
I've been staying here a while. It's very convenient to Durham, Chapel Hill and Raleigh. Very quiet and safe. Lots of trees and shade. Electric and sewage are included with monthly rent. Although the office is normally closed, the friendly staff is very responsive to email and phone. Highly recommend! edit: 5G cell service
Christine was a great asset helping us with our FIRST RV camping expedition.. seemed really down to earth and pleasant fitting us in last minute with all the hookups we needed.
Quiet, peaceful RV park surrounded by tall trees & with a variety of birds singing. Full hookups. Sites are gravel which are large enough to accommodate our 38 ft Class A motorhome plus our tow vehicle. We stayed for a week while visiting our daughter & really enjoyed our stay. Triangle RV Park is conveniently located with stores & restaurants close by. The owner, Jay & his daughter, Scarlett, were so welcoming & friendly. The park is dog/pet friendly. So much so that Jay’s wife makes homemade dog biscuits for the furry visitors. We really appreciated the dog stations which were always stocked with waste bags. The park is very clean as is the laundry room. We were comfortable & felt safe. We will definitely be back next time that we are in Durham.
The Triangle RV park is a good place to stay. The location is near the Duke University Western campus and medical facilities. It's very convenient to Durham and Chapel Hill. It's also within a reasonable commuting distance to Raleigh, RDU airport and Hillsboro. Nearby shopping and services are very good. There are a few local neighbors that do not take good care of their property. That's not the fault of the RV park. But, it's a minor eyesore. The RV park it mixed use with about half of the property used for full-time residents in trailers. The RV lots are small but properly equipped. There's a new dog park onsite. The laundry facilities are not very modern but are convenient and function well. The septic is treated with an onsite aerobic septic system. It's good way to handle septic, but it does have an unpleasant odor. There's no bath house, clubhouse, pool or recreational facilities. If you enjoy the outdoors I do the nearby Duke Forest trails and the Duke Gardens are great. Overall, I recommend this RV park. It's not the type of park that vacationers go to for a week of fun in the sun. it's more of a matter of location and convenience with suitable living services. It seems that many RV owners stay here for long periods of time because of nearby work or medical services. So, there's a bit more stability compared to some RV parks.
If you have to stay here, it’s okay. It’s really expensive considering they have no amenities besides laundry $700 a month? Jones Station is $500 and they have lots of amenities. in the summer, it smells awful. Straight sewage. In the fall, the leaf blowers are working from 8am-8pm. The people in the office are nice, and that’s about it.
We stayed there over Thanksgiving and the owner or manager went out of his way to fit us in at the last minute and he was very nice to work with. Functionally, everything worked very well, we had no problems with the services offered. Stay here for the convenience to Durham, but don't expect anything fancy or special, it's pretty much a place to park your RV and to hook up to sewer, water and electric.
