Honestly, I miss this place. When I first came out as a transgender woman, back in May 2005 I was living in Southbury Connecticut. This was the closest LGBT oriented nightclub to Southbury, Connecticut. So I came. Truthfully, I liked it a lot better than the Chez Est in Hartford, Connecticut; and even the Polo Club-or so in Hartford. Next to heading on down to Manhattan, I recommend the train from Southeast, New York or any stop on the Harlem or New Haven Lines to Grand Central Terminal; the 7 Train or shuttle takes you to the 1 Train, southbound takes you to Sheridan Square at Seventh Avenue in West Greenwich Village, Triangles Café is the best you will get.
A really friendly place. I'm not one for the dance floor so I sit by the bar or out on the patio. Lovely patrons and excellent staff. It can be a little crowded at times though.
