Tried & True is a resale women's clothing boutique selling donated new & used clothing items. Proceeds go toward services provided to individuals supported by One Vision (formerly Opportunity Village).
Tried & True, a resale women’s clothing boutique, will open May 26 at Willowbrook Mall in Mason City.
Tried & True, the third resale store owned and operated by Clear Lake-based nonprofit organization One Vision (formerly Opportunity Village) will sell donated new and gently used women’s apparel and accessories in curated, specially selected quantities. The boutique is designed to offer a unique resale shopping experience to North Iowa women who have a desire to be socially conscious by purchasing and recycling used clothing, but also value convenience.
Regular hours for Tried & True will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The boutique will be closed Sunday and Monday.
Tried & True will provide community employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Clothing and accessories will be priced similar to consignment stores with all proceeds directly funding services for more than 550 individuals throughout North Iowa who receive services and support through One Vision.
One Vision also owns and operates the General Stores in Clear Lake and Fort Dodge.
