Be wary of this facility if your loved one has dementia. The unlocked area of this nursing home is welcoming and clean in stark contrast of the locked unit where the furniture is torn and deeply stained, blinds are broken, and floors and eating tables are always dirty. Understaffed in this area . Patients lack basic including the washing of hands before and after eating. Very disappointed in the care that is given by the administrator and director of nursing, and some staff who worked in the memory unit..
My grandfather has been there about a year and the majority nursing staff are rude and disrespectful to families and patients. There has been emergency situations and they drag their feet getting some help. On multiple occasions, my grandmother and I have visited and told the nurses that my grandfather wasn’t acting normal and something was wrong. After a while without help we finally were able to get him to the hospital and he was hospitalized for a multiple days. He has a specific dietary dealing with a hard time swallowing need that is noted on the meal checks and I have been there when they gave him 2 helpings of meals that was clearly stated that he could not have.
I'm surprised my mother in law survived. We were blinded by the new big building but they couldn't keep help and had a few lazy nurses that made it hard on the good ones. My daughter had to call 911 when her grandmother was choking and got to the hospital to find out she had aspiration pneumonia along with a severe uti. She was running a fever and blood pressure and pulse were so low I don't know how she was still breathing. She was in the hospital for a week and we transferred her to another home.

Our mother, that has always been there for us, now has an outstanding environment and extremely caring personnel. Very professional. Would go out of their way to take care of you. Physical & occupational therapists were terrific, they pushed you to get better. Great place.
Great facility. Very clean and experienced nurses and cnas.
