The doctors and nurses are good in this office, but the rest of the office is not that great. They take a while to respond to your messages over phone. Even when they have update they don't call and tell you. You have to call and constantly chase on your requests.
My husband and I are both patients there, I called on a Monday to have my husband seen by anyone because he was having trouble with continuing coughing and chest issues. The receptionist Chris said the first I have open in Thursday..when I said he can see anyone, she rudely said Thursday morning!!!! I will say I have been a receptionist at a doctors office and I would never talk to a patient like that..just saying
Everyone is always so kind and helpful. Dr. Thatcher is very trusted in our family, is very thorough, knows his profession extremely well and has a wonderful bedside manner.
Look elsewhere. Multiple instances of waiting for almost an hour and to top it off - I got a new job and my previous boss quickly ended my insurance instead of waiting for my new insurance/aiding me in the process of paying for COBRA insurance Trivalley cancelled my antidepressants with no actual notice..just a phone call from the snarky receptionist telling me I should find another doctors office. It was insane. Never once have I been a difficult patient or given any issues, but even if I did - cancelling someone’s medication the way they did is so irresponsible.
I was looking for a new PCP but was having some issues with my insurance. I called this office in hopes to solve my issues and make an appointment. I called and talked to the receptionist, Chris. They were so condescending, incredibly rude, and unhelpful. Becuase of this experience, I will not going to be going to this office and finding a different PCP.
My family and I have been going to this practice for years, every doctor we've met has been wonderful and our primary care doc, Dr. O'Driscoll is the best. Unlike other groups we had tried before every doctor we have seen has been great so I never have to cringe when the kids are sick and our regular Dr is not available. The staff is also nice and helpful, not a cranky one in the bunch. Yes I sometime's have to leave a message instead of them picking up a phone but it never has been more than a minor inconvenience.
Really enjoy this office and the experiences I have had. I always feel catered to and important. Even away on vacation Dr Tim went above and beyond for me. Definitely recommend this practice.
I have a hard time reading the negative comments from patients. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this practice. Dr. McGann is my physician as well as my children's physician. She always takes the time and evaluates us. She can type and talk, it's called multi-tasking. As busy as she may be, if I am there with my kids and she see's that I'm not feeling well, she has if time allows adds me in to her schedule to treat me.... She's a great physician and I am very happy I found her for my family. I won't go any place else. My daughter has a serious fear of the doctors after coming from an unfriendly pediatrician in Souderton, and the entire staff has gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. From bringing an entire basket of lollipops into the room after a shot, to making a big deal about her cowgirl boots every time she comes in.... They are warm and welcoming, and excellent at giving quick & painless injections. While I agree the phones are difficult to get a receptionist to schedule an appointment, they ALWAYS call back and if it's urgent, choose the option for the nursing line. The office is very clean too! I love it at TriValley and Dr. McGann and the staff.
I called to make an appointment after Keystone First insurance allowed me to make one of the doctors at their Franconia office my PCP. TriValley was listed on their webpage with a long list of options for physicians. Insurance is stressful and complicated enough as it is but when I called TriValley to try and schedule an appointment I was met with a horrendously rude women who belittled me, like I should have somehow knew that they weren't accepting new patients. Maybe try having someone at your office to explain these things in a more calm manner with some patience and understanding. I was a patient at TriValley when I was younger and my mother still goes there. Now I don't know why I'd even want to try and go back.
I came here today for the first time as a new patient. The reception staff and the nurses are wonderful, however I saw Dr. McGann and she was the most unfriendly, uncaring, rude doctor I've ever met. I got in my car and cried the whole way home. I don't understand how a doctor can treat someone the way that she did. I will never see her again.
