Great place to go to and they allow dogs outside. Beer selection is amazing and the staff is very imformable when it comes to knowing about the beers and area. They also have fountain drinks to a pretty decent selections. I will definitely be coming here again it's a little bit of a drive but it's well worth it.
Just found them online today when I googled food near me. Decided to order food to-go over the phone. Geo helped me and was very patient and had extensive knowledge of the menu. He quoted 20 minutes for pick up time and the food was hot and ready when I arrived. I got the smokehouse burger and it did NOT disappoint! It was piled high with pulled pork and brisket. So big, I had to put half away for later. I got it with onion rings which were HUGE and had a super tasty batter on them. I got them with ranch as well because I’m a Midwest girl, and the ranch was A+ as well. Super happy with my first experience here, and I can’t wait to go back and try more food! 10/10
First off, we went here as a last minute decision with a party of 10. They accommodated us with no issue. Our server was awesome. The food was outstanding and the prices for what we got really impressed us. Right now they are doing all day happy hours including weekends which is great for having some drinks. We will be back for sure!!!
Barley and hops used to be my favorite spot to go to but it is not the same. There is like nobody there for a good reason. The place looks nice but the menu is very limited. We went for wings. They only had a really mild sauce and the wings were rubbery. I then asked for a burger and when it came it was raw and the fries had bacon on them and my dads burger had cheese that was not melted. This whole experience took my about an hour. On top of that, it is not a tavern and grill, more of just a Latin grill. I miss the old place. My review. Skip out of this place and go over to gators next door
My rating is split in half. I’ll start with the positive: Our meals did not disappoint, had the ribs and the fried chicken with sides, both were delicious and great portion sizes all around. Great value! The worst was our server. They really need some extensive training. Greeted, did not ask if we wanted drinks We ordered food and then said we would also like cocktails. My meal was ordered with a side salad which usually comes out before the meal. Ya think? Our hot meals delivered by a runner, never got my salad, had to ash him for it, delivered with wrong dressing. It was a good size and as I was already eating my meal, so... Server comes, I ask for a to-go box for it and the correct dressing. Never even apologized, in fact, did not say a word. Comes by and drops the container on the table and walks away. A few minutes later, she stops at the table and puts the check down. Says nothing. ??? What happened to “how was everything, can I get you anything else, another drink or some desert”? To me that’s just normal restaurant etiquette. Needless to say her tip was not generous, I am in a tipping industry and if your good, you’ll know I appreciated your service. On a side note, I do not think short shorts that a “hostess” was wearing is appropriate to seat your guests.
Service was amazing! The food was ok. We went during a brunch buffet. Food that should have warmers, didn’t. The signs were all hand-drawn and barely legible. The brunch is like it’s in the testing stages- like they aren’t putting money into it until they decide to keep it going or close it and not offer it any longer. The live music was a special treat. The egg station is great and the chef is amazing cooking and service!
Ok place to hang. Several empty taps. Not much for craft options on tap. Pretzel was good as were the cheese curds.
Nobody in the place on a holiday in the Orlando area should have been a sign. Our waiters pants were not zipped and wide open which was uncomfortable at eye level once seated. He never came to check on us after we ordered. My coke was all water so I had to walk over to the bar and ask for a new glass and wait to take it to the table myself. Never offered refills. Ordered a burger and came with toppings I asked not to be placed on it and he told me to just throw them off to the side. Had no napkins and our burgers came without condiments even though we asked for them. Wont go back or ever recommend.
Been wanting to try this place for a while now. When we arrived the staff seemed friendly. Was seated right away. Managed to look over our menu and was excited to try some of the food. Was chatting with my girlfriend for a bit then realized 15 minutes had gone by with no one even coming by to ask if we had been helped. Spent 5 minutes trying to wave a server down. No luck. Got up and left. 20 minutes and no service. Was really looking forward to giving this place a chance. Might return again in the future but it will probably be a while.
My family was vacationing in Orlando at Disney staying at a house in Windermere and just stopped at the first place we saw. We then went back another two times that week! The food was always great, my party of seven never had one complaint about their food. The service was also attentive and very friendly. The water is borderline undrinkable and some of the drinks were poorly made but I’m still giving a five star review because they deserve it!
