Trollbeads started life as 'Troldekugler' in 1976 in a small jeweler's store in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company is owned and operated by a very imaginative and creative family. The first quirky little beads were designed by silversmith Søren Nielsen, Lise Aagaard's brother; until 2000 every design came from a family member. The Troll fever had spread rapidly throughout the world and today Trollbeads can be found in more than 50 countries.
