I helped with an event several weeks ago. They rented a pavilion that had a roll-up concessions counter, which was used as a beverage station. The place was huge a very nice location and area of the park. It has been many years since I last was at Tropical Park. I most definitely will be back. Restrooms: Very clean
This park is immense with plenty to do for the entire family. There is no fee to enter compared to other county parks. There’s an entrance on Bird Road and one at Miller Drive. Great place with plenty of trails for jogging, walking or biking. If you want a high intense workout go up the famous hill in the rear of the park. Plenty of lakes for fishing and tables for picnics or bring a blanket and sit on the grass under a tree for shade. Their Pavilions are for rent for large gatherings for birthday parties or other celebrations This weekend we went for a walk early in the morning we approached one of the bathrooms and saw the “orange caution cones” thinking it was closed we drove to the next one and it also had same cones, I went inside. So, clearly bathrooms are cleaned and floors mopped every morning. Plenty to do at this family friendly park! They also have baseball fields, batting cages, tennis, racquetball and plenty of trails. You cannot walk with your dog in the park trails or you will be fined. I am a dog lover and empathize but many dog owners do not pick up after their dogs! Which explains why there is a gated dog park for dogs to socialize with other dogs. Thank you Miami-Dade for enforcing rules and maintaining our parks clean for us to enjoy. Restrooms: Well maintained and cleaned daily.
Awesome park! Has a lot of ducks and baby ducklings too! Great for kids and to run! It’s a huge park with a exercise section, playground , and a big big hill! You can buy ice creams, and rent bikes, ect. It’s very nice for some nature time! Also has a dog park and very nice picnic areas!
We always enjoy. It’s a solid, sizable park & a Miami staple. Plenty of nature trails, courts, fields, exercise stations & kiddie playgrounds. The larger kids’ playground has sand & a cool little, rocky hill behind it.
Nice place for families every Friday you can find here different food truck more then 15 trucks. Food from Venezuela, México, dominican , cuban and more. Is really nice
This park is located in Miami county and has a lot of fun , parking and green areas to share with your family and friends
"I have to say that my experience in the softball league at Tropical Park has been extremely disappointing. The maintenance staff is simply terrible at their job. On multiple occasions, we have arrived at the playing fields only to find surfaces in poor condition, full of potholes, and completely unsafe. What's worse is that it seems like the maintenance staff is looking for excuses to avoid working. They are not fulfilling their responsibilities to properly prepare and maintain the fields. This has not only affected our experience as players but has also jeopardized our safety. It's unbelievable that in a sports league where players invest time and effort to compete and enjoy the game, we are facing this lack of professionalism from the maintenance staff. It's time for the league management to take serious steps to address this issue. This situation not only negatively impacts the quality of the games but also tarnishes the league's overall image. I'm confident that this review reflects the sentiments of many other players. I hope the league takes immediate action to improve field maintenance and restore its .
Honestly, I really don't understand what's happening here lately in these parks, I've been playing softball in these stadiums for more than 10 years and lately the staff doesn't want to do anything, they don't even prepare the stadiums in advance, I understand that when it rains hard you can't do nothing, but many times it is not the occasion and they cancel because of stupid puddles in the middle of the field, when we all know that the park has the machinery, products and personnel in this park, the truth is I do not understand it and it is so disrespectful For the players and for the league, which for so many years has contributed thousands of dollars to the county, on top of that all the taxes that one as a taxpayer normally contributes, these parks have lost that essence of pleasure to practice and compete in them, I hope that Look from deep inside and fix this because the truth is I don't believe that the county, which is really not to blame for two or three who don't want to work, will lose a league full of good atmosphere and healthy socialization and also contributes thousands of dollars to it. Playground: softball fields
Great atmosphere and fun for the kids and lot's of delicious food truck
