We always love coming here. The location is fantastic and the food is always great. This time my mom had the vegan double burger beet, walnut, veggies and I had the O.G. the grass fed beef burger. I tried hers, it was amazing. Pink lime tart for dessert. We always get the charred cauliflower starter and Kale aid refresher green juice.
Last Thursday evening, my girlfriend and I decided to have our date night dinner at one of our beloved spots. This restaurant never fails to impress, and this visit was no exception. Right off the bat, the ambiance was inviting. The patio seating was an excellent choice for us, especially since we had our dogs with us. The cozy setup with heaters created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening. It’s always nice to find a place that’s not only people-friendly but also accommodating to our furry friends. Service here deserves a special mention. It was friendly, prompt, and attentive - they even brought a water bowl for our dogs, which was a thoughtful gesture. As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. We started with the charred cauliflower appetizer, a favorite of ours. It’s always a hit with its saucy goodness and delightful textures. For the main course, I opted for the lasagna. It was a unique take on the traditional dish, and the extra parmesan cheese was a game-changer. My girlfriend enjoyed the butternut squash soup and the turkey burger, both of which were flavorful and satisfying. What makes this restaurant a gem is its commitment to healthy eating. Their menu is filled with gluten-free and vegan options, catering to various dietary needs without compromising on taste. In summary, this place is a must-visit for anyone who values a health-conscious lifestyle, enjoys great food, and appreciates a dog-friendly environment. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Love this restaurant, I have been here a bunch of times, and it always delivers. Service was great, the food was clean yet decadent & so delicious with just the right portion size. This restaurant is a really great experience. The food was delicious and tasted so real and healthy. Our server Jake was making, he was speedy and friendly. The interior is really beautiful. It’s a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth the money. I had the Two Egg Breakfast, the eggs were delicious, potatoes were perfectly cooked and the sausage tasted amazing. The bread was definitely on the crunchier side but it was enjoyable with everything in the plate. Parking: The parking garage is free for 1 hour.
True Food Kitchen never disappoints. We have been to the Walnut Creek location a few times and each time we've left happy. On our most recent visit, our party of three ordered an Angus Hamburger, a Winter Harvest salad and a chopped salad. All three dishes were excellent. I really enjoyed the Winter Harvest salad and hamburger. What really stood out this time was the service. My mother-in-law ordered a medium-well hamburger and it came out closer to medium. She was fine with the burger that way, but about 5 minutes later the server brought us another burger informing us that it was on the house because the first burger wasn't medium-well. I was amazed that they would do this, especially since we didn't tell them anything was wrong. Truly outstanding service.
True Food Kitchen at Walnut Creek serves health-conscious dishes such as creative Burgers, Pizzas, Salads, Lasagna and Vegetables. We ordered Rose Sangria, Stella Artois Beer, Lemonade and Cucumber Martini for drinks and relished their Pan Roasted Chicken, Mediterranean Salad and Bison Sausage Pizza for lunch. The dishes were well cooked, fresh, not too spicy, unique and tasty. The staff are helpful and great.
Love this place! Good food with many options for people with dietary requirements vegan, dairy free, gluten free. The staff is really friendly. I went to celebrate something important with a friend and they made a big deal out of it. Loved their pink tart, ancient grain bowl and drinks. Parking: The parking garage is right next door. Free for the first three hours, paid after that.
We dropped in for a quick bite. The food lacked luster to say it nicely. We ordered the Thai peanut salad would give it a 2/10 very small portion, tasted like cabbage wothout seasoning. Then had the street corn 6$ for 1 ear of corn but was tasty. Then we had the Spinach and mushroom pizza. The crust was good the topping did not pair well together. The lemon ricotta tasted like old beer, it lacked flavored without it but still tasted better than stale beer. The best thing we had was the water. Yummy nicely filtered water!!! The server was very nice.

This place is amazing , was attended by Sabrina who made this experience special, food fabulous tasty , I always bring friends here . Love the pizza and kale salad . Had a hummus wrap was delicious.Food: 5/5
